Dennis holy sh*t you are NO joke beast!

Yea man, the workouts are battles. There should be blood on the weights.

It keeps your mental edge, even if it's not the most scientifically proven methods, it does something for the mind which improves physical performance.

We need more bad asses out there :)

I just got around to listening to the call. I loved the entire call, especially the rant Elliot went on about "health food in a box". I couldn't agree more. I loved the discussion on mindset. I would really like to hear more regarding the "going to war" mindset you guys preach. I am glad someone is saying it. I tried the EDT workout Elliot talked about this morning after I hit Flat bench 225 times 10 sets of 5. I dropped to 185 for sets of 5 followed by 5 pullups for 20 minutes. I was smoked brother. BTW 185 is 2lbs heavier than my bodyweight. I was able to get 12 rounds.

James

in your early 20's, many of us tend to develop a natural allergy to dairy products

I remember when I was 22, I cut them from my diet and I packed on muscle and got lean as hell

I would always eat turkey and cheese sandiwches, drink milk, eat cereal, etc.

I got rid of it all

It tends, from my own experience and from many athletes, slows them down physically, bogs the energy system and negatively effects the immune system

time to eat like a caveman bruddah!

Hey Zach, I finally got time to listen to the whole teleseminar last night....good stuff definitely. Am really interested in more info on nutrition, with specifics. Can you throw more of that out here once in a while? One question, during the interview you really quickly said something about getting rid of dairy foods. I hit dairy pretty hard, thinking it's natural and good protein. Also use a whey protein powder in drinks. Am I hurting myself nutrition-wise? Would like to know your thoughts, 'cause will have to radically change my eating if dairy's no good. Milk, yogurt, cheese...I eat a lot. Thanks,

Killer stuff, guys!

It's right in line with the way I've been training clients for years! Just like you, I personally have gotten away from some of my conditioning stuff in pursuit of strength and honestly it's hurt me. I've noticed personally that I get stronger when I am leaner and in better overall condition.

Another great trick is to throw in some of this muscle conditioning stuff as a "finisher" at the end of a workout. Something quick, like 5-10 minutes of non-stop work. The EDT stuff works great for this, even if it's a back and forth for the arms (pump stuff) or something of that nature!

Antwon

I work with lots of high school athletes who for the most part, diminish their results due to lackluster commitment in nutrition.

My college guys "get it"

I look for 5 - 6 meals a day

fruits and veggies at ea meal

1 salad a day

eat like a caveman

Good post again Zach!

One thing I really would like to read about is your take on nutrition and supplementation.

What do you have your athletes eat? When? How much? ;)

Thanks!
