Fellow Beast and certified Underground Strength Coach, David Lee put this highlight together from a seminar Joe DeFranco and I did 2 weekends ago.

Make no mistake about it, this seminar was as much a dream to me as it was to those who attended.

Why was this seminar a dream of mine?

You see, 4 years and 1 month ago, I made my way to north Jersey to get a in person consult with Joe DeFranco.

It took 6 months to set up.

I never gave up.

I refused to stop e mailing Joe until he told me to “Fuck Off” – but, he NEVER told me to fuck off.

He finally named the price, date and time – I NEVER took his time for granted. The VERY first time I e mail him about the consult I told him to name the price and I’ll make it work.

This was 2 weeks out from my wedding, I still remember that day.

The meeting took place in that little storage closet transformed into Joe D’s original dungeon.

As time went on, Joe and I became good friends. As the years continued, I earned his respect. I never asked for things for FREE, I understood the unsaid words of a Gladiator, which was to walk the walk and earn my respect and friendship.

In this world of business, there are many, many sneaky people who want to burn you and bring you down, Joe had been there and I was experiencing it myself, but being genuine and being a fellow jersey homeboy maybe we saw eye to eye easier….

Then, during the summer, after training at Joe’s gym, he spoke about doing a seminar together.

And on the day we kicked off the seminar, man was I rollin’ with goosebumps.

The entire crew was hyped like nothing I had ever seen, awaiting for Joe and I to come out and kill it.

We spoke in his office for 1 minute before we went out and gave each other a pep talk.

I joked with Joe & told him not to be nervous and that I knew this was his first time speaking in front of an audience. We laughed and headed out to kick start the first ever ‘Lost Secrets of Strength Development’ and kicked off what was the coolest damn seminar I ever experienced.

It was a VERY unique gathering and it knocked everyone’s socks off!

The next seminar I’ll be holding will be at my gym, January 10th, with AJ Roberts.

But, I am doing something very special…

The night before, after my clients are done, from 7 until 8:30 pm or so, we will have a Strength Gathering, where any of the attendees can come to the gym, train, talk shop, hang out and do whatever the hell they want.

AJ & I will be there, and, my homeboy Smitty from Diesel Crew will be hanging out with some of his homeboys.

I’m sure a grip contest will bust out, some crazy Kettlebell work, stone lifting, anvil lifting and the chalk will flying and the rusty iron will be flying.
