This was my latest article from http://Elitefts.com

The title….. ‘NO Respect? Go to the Bsement!’

It’s been pissing many off but making more people happy that  said what I said.

Figured I’d leave this gem right here for you to read, enjoy and feel to free to comment and share with others you know :)

While others were sleeping..

grifkbready.jpg

It was 10 PM at night.

The air was cool and my wife was asleep. My daughter fell asleep at 8:30 PM and I just finish cleaning up, massaging my wife to fall asleep and unable to get in my quick workout, I headed around the backyard into the dark to grab an 80 lb Kettlebell.

The sky was bright, being it was a full moon, I was able to see better than usual.

I had to train, because being strong is what made me successful in the first place.

If time allows, I’ll be squatting tomorrow.

But, for tonight, making sure I lead from the front, I cranked out a brutal circuit under the full moon in my backyard.

The workout went as follows:

I speak the truth…

June 14th, 2008

Just got an e mail earlier today asking about my thoughts regarding the Lifeline Kettlebells and The Power Wheel.

First off, I will never promo something I do not believe in, or something that you can not benefit from.

I have a few of the Lifeline K-bells and wish I had these earlier. They freaking rock. They do not have a glossy finish, they fit perfectly and the price is right.

The power wheel is a regular in my own workouts as well as our athletes. Lots of handwalks and roll outs, and some of our advanced guys hit supersets of pike ups and leg curls, plyo push ups into hand walks and one beast does standing roll outs!! Ouch!

I have been hitting the power wheel in between most of my sets of big lifts to add volume to my ab training. My abs feel tighter and stronger than ever! This is seriously the most awesome training tool one can use for the abs. Don’t believe me? Oh well, your loss :) Keep doing sit ups for 500 reps.

I usually hit the kneeling power wheel for reps in the 5 - 8 range when performing sets throughout the workout due to all the volume. Your abs will be feeling it big time….especially the next day, so start off slowly on these as most people are not used to the great amount of tension the power wheel produces on the abs.

I have many, many, many K-bells from countless companies. I don’t want to talk down on any company, but simply stated, the Lifeline K-bells are getting my top reccomendation.

You will also see a short audio I have just done interrogating Jim Wendler, where we chat about the release of his upcoming training manual which is an awesome manual, especially for busy guys, or, point blank, anyone who wants to get strong! I have received a preview copy and loved it. It has brought me to a new light, especially since I am busier than ever before.

Until the next time,

Stay strong!

Breakfast before the Storm

February 17th, 2008

kbfarmer2.JPGMy Breakfast before the Storm:

4 whole eggs

4 egg shites

2 bananas

2 clementines

1 cup of coffee

I tend to alternate coffee and green tea through several week cycles. This is what my body is telling me and I go with it. I stray away from dairy products as much as possible except the eggs. I used to do the ol’ bodybuilder breakfast of 8 egg whites and one yolk, but after 7 or 8 years of the same thing, I decided to add more yolks to my breakfast and I feel stronger. And this did NOT have any adverse impact on cholesterol levels.

Throughout the day I’ll have several meals which are higher protein, lower carbs and I’ll also get one salad in somewhere during the day, as well as several pieces of fruit and TONS of water.

After breakfast I’ll be heading off to The Underground for a training session, a full body workout, much like what I prescribe in my Underground Strength Kit for my wrestlers.

The style of training I utilize with my combative athletes focuses on developing high levels of work capacity. Being strong is not good enough. Strength endurance, Power endurance and very high levels of stamina is what we develop through our workouts

What will you be doing on this fine Sunday?

In strength,

Zach

P.S. - Get an inside look as to how we train our athletes as well as countless workouts for you to begin following asap HERE. You’ll also receive informative and no holds barred strength secrets from the following heavy hitters:

I listen to these audios over and over again myself. As always, this information will not suit those who sit on their ass all day and talk shit on internet forums. It’s for those who are ready to train like Gladiators.

Get started HERE if you are NOT one of those keyboard, pencil neck, internet tough guys.
