Episode # 53: Success Creation w/Dax Moy, the final chapter

October 26th, 2008

The final chapter of my interrogation with Dax Moy is below.

Now, I KNOW this stuff is not for everyone. Some just want to see training, well, without the proper mind set, all the training in the world means and does nothing.

Dax is no stranger to strength by the way, he reps out with 400 lb deadlifts, 88 lb kettlebells, 300 lb bench press and the dude is an ex commando in the military.

Not only is he a tremendous success, I would say he is a walking, talking deadly weapon - in more ways than one.

My first kick start to success came through my coaching under Dax. Before that, I was struggling, stuck in the same rut with regards to income and mind set.

If you’re dead serious about changing your life then you need to listen to the man. NEVER stop learning!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this last portion of Dax revealing some kick ass info.

Kill it!

–Coach Z–

PS: This video may be titled the “final chapter”, but it’s only the final chapter for you if you decide NOT to take action. If you decide you want to move mountains and take massive action, then this is for you:

==> http://theMagicalHundred.com

This is VERY intense stuff and you will be pushed WAAAAY outside your comfort zone. It is NOT for everyone, so if you decide it is for you, go full blast and kill it!

Which will you become?

Episode # 51: Zach interrogates his Coach, Dax Moy!

October 24th, 2008

Dax Moy is someone who I put my trust in from the very start, to help me become who I am today.

Not sure why, but I knew I needed a Coach. I knew Dax genuinely cared and I took the first step to find a way to learn from him.

It took only one sentence from an e mail exchange we had to really skyrocket what I was doing, and below, you will see part 1 of a 3 part video I’ll be showing you here. It’s about 16 minutes long so I broke down into thirds….

Enjoy and take notes…it keeps getting better & better….

What was just said may seem simple, don’t overlook ANY of this!

Keep your notepad handy, I’ll be adding part 2 and 3 soon enough.

Till then,

take action and KILL IT!

–Coach Z–

PS: When Dax and I began our e mail exchanges, and eventually his Coaching me, he started me with his program: ==> http://theMagicalhundred.com - do NOT use this unless you are REALLY ready to step outside your comfort zone because this WILL push you over the edge like never before.

Episode # 43: Dinner with the homeboys

October 9th, 2008
· Filed Under: Success · Underground Strength Show · Videos

I had a great time hanging out with these dudes at The Ryan Lee Boot Camp.

Great food and masterminding / exchanging of our best methods with training and marketing.

This is what YOU must do to take anything you do to a BIG, BIG level. Surround yourself with like minded, highly motivated people.

Stay away from those who drag you down, and that may very well mean your family members.

Most people don’t understand what I do, and the best way for me to keep kicking butt is to roll solo or to organize mastermind meetings.

Check out the good energy in this video:

I do the same thing at my gym, The Underground Strength Gym in Edison, NJ.

I bring together highly motivated athletes who want to kill it and create an environment that breeds greater success.

I’m stepping it up even more, every minute of every day.

What are you doing to step it up? Post your comments below, I wanna hear about em’!

Kill it!

–Coach Z–

PS: When it comes to success, people complicate things waaaaaaay too much. For training, I follow a simple system, yet insanely effective. I reccomend it to others who want to kill it and stop wasting their time on complicated, expensive BS programs.

Check out my home study course HERE.

PPS: I also teach the masterminding principle and methods to those who attend my Underground Strength Coach Certification. Every USC Certification has sold out for 2008, stay tuned for 2009 dates to be announced shortly!

Another Tear Jerker E Mail!

September 10th, 2008
· Filed Under: Announcements · Articles · Calendar · Success

Man, I am getting choked up, no joke.

I am a pretty sensitive guy, perhaps to a fault.

I am getting choked up with these e mail
and videos.

I do have a problem though….

Some people are intimidated by the videos
that have been posted thus far for The
Underground Inspiration Contest.

—-> http://undergroundstrengthcoach.com/contest.html

Don’t be!

Take this as an opportunity to share your success, and motivate someone to become great and rise from their situation, just as you once did.

It’s not showing off, and maybe I should not have even made this a contest….regardless, it is a contest, but, MORE important than anything, is us, binding together as a family, to help someone do something magical in their life.

Not sure what I mean?

Please read the e mail below:

“Zach,
You don’t know me but I hear from you just about every day.  Your enthusiasm and love for your work never cease to amaze and inspire me.  Even when pissed at some client who can’t show up, you find a way to turn it into a positive lesson.  Thanks, man.

I first came across your work through my research into kettlebell training.  I bought the video you made with Jason C. Brown and I listened to your interview.  I then started checking out your website and even bought The Real Man’s Guide to Fitness and MMA Experts both of which I’ve used personally and professionally.  I considered entering your contest but then thought better of it.  The two vids I saw were way better then anything I might pull together.  To be honest I’m more interested in just sending you some props and saying thanks.

Here’s where I come from.  I’m 36 years old.  I live in Birmingham, Alabama and I work as a personal trainer and massage therapist in a small private gym here.  I’m married and have been for 14 years.  I have three beautiful daughters, ages 11, 8 and 6.

While I have only recently, really only a few weeks ago, come to find you and your site, and therefore can’t attribute the changes I’ve gone through directly to you. I can thank you by proxy as you embody and personify the spirit of what has changed my life.

You see, up until just a few years ago, I had no real direction.  I had a wife and kids to look after and I did that but not as well as I could.  I kept taking jobs that took me more nowhere but frustrated.  I took that frustration out in drugs and wasted much of our time and money.  Fitness was my way out.

My gym became more than just my job, it became my haven.  When you say you don’t know what you would do if you couldn’t train, I know just what you mean.

Today my life is beautiful.  I’m writing you from my desk in the house we just bought last June.  It’s twice the size of our old house and in a neighborhood I can feel good about raising my kids in.

My business is booming.  I keep a full schedule and look forward to work every day.  I may work a long day but it leaves me energized and excited about my life.  Which is something my old job at half the hours could not do.  At 36 I’m in the best shape of my life.  I’m the guy Alwyn Cosgrove hasn’t met yet, as I assure you I would kick my 18 year old ass.  So I just wanted to let you know, I know what you’re talking about.  I get it.  I hear you and I salute you, brother.

I look forward to checking my inbox each day, looking for whatever craziness you’ve sent out into the world.  Whatever it is I know it will help me in my training and by extension my clients.  I’m nowhere near posting the numbers I’ve seen you and some of your guys list.  I really only started weight training three years ago, most of my background is in martial arts, but this past weekend I was able to lift a railroad tie and carry it thirty or forty yards (four times) to build a terraced garden bed.  I felt so strong and so capable at that moment.  I know it’s my training I have to thank for that ability, but it’s your inspiration that makes my training so effective.  Thank you.  Keep up the good work.”

Dave H.”

************ WOW!!!! *******************

I am blown away, and man, this e mail hit me hard.

I am getting more and more e mails like this every day,
and I am realizing the power of The Underground, because it enables people to do so much with so little.

I am in a position where I can help, but I want others to
help as well, kinda like that movie “Pay it Forward.”

Alwyn Cosgrove instilled this in me, and, deep down, it’s
what I love.

Thanks to everyone who is sending videos, sending e mails and sending support my way.

If you have a story, please share it, get involved, post a video, and your video will become something that will help people make positive changes for many, many years and years to come.

That’s some powerful stuff….and it only takes a few minutes.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart,

and…sorry for getting so mushy!

I promise to deadlift and squat heavy tomorrow! ha ha

Sincerely,

–Coach Z–

PS: Get rolling w/the contest, don’t procrastinate. If you need help, just e mail me :)

PPS: The way to start doing what you love is to get involved with The Underground. Either through the membership site, my certification or any of my seminars.

PPPS: Don’t let fear hold you back anymore. Countless immigrants come to this country with nothing, zero, zilch, and then they succeed at the highest of levels, ALL because they gave themself only ONE option, and that was to kill it! There was no failure in their mind or eyes.

A Day at DeFranco’s - The Strongman Challenge

July 20th, 2008

Yesterday I made the one hour trek up north to my homeboy Joe D’s gym, and og what a gym it is,I’m in heaven there :)

It was our 2nd year competing in Joe D’s strongman contest, and this year we brought 1 high school athlete and 5 college athletes. Unfortunately, 2 were unable to attend due to injury and family vacation.

I had a wedding to attend yesterday and I was big time pressed for time, so, I also missed out on chowing down on more than a few burgers at The Goffle Grill, which I was really looking forward to doing while talking training with Joe D and his  kick ass trainers, Johnny Imp and Jeff Carr.

Now, as you know, my passion is strength and success - they go hand in hand.

Being at Joe’s place is VERY motivating, and I am glad my athletes went up there with their A game!

You can’t help but be motivated when you see NFL athletes, top notch D 1 athletes and hungry high school kids gunning for the top.

Our top gun was Curls - now, as I have mentioned before, Curls is NOT some genetic freak as most would assume. The kid had not one inkling of athletic talent when he was younger. He was slow, weak and fatigues quickly. He was tagged first in all tag games.

But, when he began working out, he found his passion, and, he never strayed from following the recipe of success 100%.

He always worked hard and smart, he always ate big and clean. I did say ALWAYS, how many other athletes are out there crying about lack of progress yet they eat like a bird, lift like a bird, and skip workouts regularly. Come on, get with the program, half assin’ it won’t cut it.

Curls went out there and killed every event, and I do mean KILLED! He even had the best tire flip time, and that was when he flipped the tire UP hill, which really stacks the cards against you. Curls didn’t care, he was ready to rock the house and trained extra hard to do so.

Check out Curls, below, KILLING the log press event…

the gist of our program comes from two places:

The Underground Strength Kit and The Russian Lion Power Course

Now that Curls won the highly coveted DeFranco’s Strongman Contest I think he’ll be able to sleep better at night :)

The rest of Team Underground kicked some serious ass. Although none of them placed top 3, they out up some very impressive numbers in the sled sprint, the tire flip, farmer walk and the log clean and press.

The problem is, I FEAR my own athletes, ha ha, but then again, that is a good thing and it pushes me to keep getting stronger.

I gotta make sure that I represent as well.

Because if I don’t lead from the front, who the heck is gonna listen to me!?!

Kill it!

–Coach Z–

P.S. - Wanna get inside access to the exact blue print we use for training?

Then check out ourUnderground Strength Kit and The Russian Lion Power Course

You’re guaranteed to start KILLING it with these two bad ass strength courses!

An inside look at The Underground Strength Gym and Zach Even - Esh

July 18th, 2008
· Filed Under: Articles · Success · Videos

The Underground Strength Gym, located in Edison, NJ, was a gym built off “nuts and berries”.

I literally started this place with less than $ 1,000 and little by little added equipment, most of which is used or home made.

Most people think that in order to start a kick ass Underground Gym would require financial assistance from a bank, a business partner / loan, all types of fancy equipment and 5,000 sq. ft.

The Underground Strength Gym is just under 1,500 sq. ft. I could have stayed in my garage and played it safe while others told me how tough running my own business would be. The BIG difference is that I had the balls to do something about my passion, while other cry, complain and make excuses about it.

I have invested thousands of dollars in Coaching and Education because I know that it is an INVESTMENT. Others call it spending.

Too many personal trainers who want to kick ass fear the “investment” because they feel it is spending.

I have hired guys like Jim Labadie, Alwyn Cosgrove, Ryan Lee and even others outside of the fitness industry, often paying $ 1,000 for an hour of their time.

I understand that my investment will translate into many, many multiples of my initial investment.

I don’t fear, I act. I make things happen, and if I need help, I am not so egotistical to ask for it and pay for it.

I pay for my education, as did my Coaches. I don’t expect FREE advice, handouts or anything else for FREE.

I have bene helped by many, and this is why I immediately e mailed Ryan Lee after he announced he would scholar someone for his upcoming Ryan Lee Boot Camp.

The cost to scholar someone is near $ 1,000, I said so what, I want to give back, to pay it forward, to help a certain someone who has the drive to take action and make things happen, no excuses, no crying or whining.

I think there are far too many complainers, whiners and cry babies out there - want everything for free, or discounted, or adjusted for their pleasure and benefit.

I don’t work with people like that, only with people who want to kick serious ass, plain and simple, and know that it will require work and an investment.

It’s time to look in the mirror, and ask yourself, what kind of person are you?

Kill it!

–Coach Z–

P.S. - The next Underground Strength Coach Certification is on Novemeber 1st and 2nd.

If you want in (I’ll be taking 12 people maximum), go HERE, read the entire letter, and if you are ready to Kill It, e mail me to schedule an interview.

I emphasize, SERIOUS, SERIOUS, SERIOUS inquiries only. No tire kickers, noone just to ask a few questions. This is the real deal. You either want in and are ready to Kill It, or you’re just “thinking about it.” I want people who are ready to kick ass like never before, so if you’re just “thinking about it” then forget it, you’re not the right fit for this elite program.

The last group who went through our Underground Strength Coach Cert. is already killing it!

- Dramatic increases in boot camp numbers
- Beginning boot camps in niche markets
- Opening Underground Strength Facilities
- Training athletic Teams

I used to….

July 16th, 2008
· Filed Under: Articles · Success

arnie-cheat.jpg

When I was 13 I started getting heavily into bodybuilding.

But what impacted me most was the info found in the original, Arnold Schwarzenneger Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding. In this HUGE book were tons and tons of black and white photos of the rugged bodybuilders from the 50’s - 70’s.

These guys were more like what I call a “power-bodybuilder”.

They hit heavy deadlifts, heavy olympic lifts, heavy powerlifts, heavy cheat curls, HEAVY EVERYTHING.

They developed incredibly rugged, rock hard physiques and man did they motivate me to do the same!

These photos made me feel like I was living during the Golden Era, training with the crew at Gold’s Venice and on Muscle Beach.

I would watch Pumping Iron over and over again, and on weekends I would have my Dad drive me to see other gyms in the area as I dreamt of owning my own gym one day.

I wanted a hardcore gym, a dungeon like faciluty where everyone busted their ass and sweated buckets to achieve their goals.

I wanted a gym where everyone understood their purpose, and that was to train your ass off, surround yourself with other highly motivated beasts and to WIN!

Well, whaddya know…. dreams become reality and I own my own hardcore facility. Just as I envisioned.

I believed, I had the guts to make it happen and I took massive action - these are 3 keys to success.

If you want something to happen badly enough, ask yourself if you have followed the 3 steps above.

If not, how about NOW would be a great time?

In Strength,

–Coach Z–

P.S. - Wanna see what kick started my gym and my business? It allowed me to open up a kick ass gym with barely any investment, while others are out spending tens of thousands and paying loans, I owe not one dime to anyone and continue to kick ass. I am showing the world how I do it, get started HERE.

P.P.S. - Stay tuned, I’ll be announcing the next USC Certification course, very likely to be in November!
