His gym is literally a few blocks from the beach &#8211; it&#8217;s VERY powerful to train while breathing in this air and it feels great.</p>

<p align="left">No need for them to bench if they weren&#8217;t demonstrating a foundation of strength to bench press.</p>
<p align="left">Push ups, dips, <strong><a href="http://undergroundkettlebells.com" target="_blank"><font color="#ff0000">kettlebell</font></a></strong> pressing, band training and even pushing movements with a sled.</p>
<p align="left">Once a solid foundation is built, teaching athletes how to bench press is MUCH easier.</p>

<p>On New Years, 1 of my athletes hit a 115 lb pull up weighing 240 lbs, I hit a 106 lb pull up weighing 220.</p>
<p>One of the young guns, a high school sophomore is addicted to The Underground &#8211; he wants to train all the time and always does extra work as he awaits his ride home (that is, if he&#8217;s not running to the gym).</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s see who wins&#8230;.</p>

<p align="left">Monday he challenged me to pull ups, so, I let him go first. I also added that I would wear a 20 lb chain. I did that for the mind games, ala Muhammad Ali <img src='http://zacheven-esh.com/blog/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
