Just a lil’ taste of what went down last weekend in Austin, TX, perhaps one of my favorite places I’ve ever been to, and not just because the town is so kick ass, but because the friendships I’ve built there are more like brotherhood and family.
BIG thanks to my homie, Jeremy Thiel, for making this happen.
One year ago JT brought 12 of his Coaches to NJ for a specialty USC Cert, where the entire 2 days were dedicated towards their needs and likings. His crew was in such kick ass shape that we went through twice as much info and training as any other group.
The Red & Black Gym was created immediately after JT & his crew returned home from NJ, and, let me tell you, this gym is Underground 110%. He took FAST action & now he has one of the nastiest, Underground gyms I’ve ever stepped foot in.
This crew was NO different. Must be something in the ATX water, and lemme tell you, the girls from Austin are f**ing LEGIT! These girls climb rope, crank pull ups, handstands, jumps, tire flips and MORE like NObody’s BIZ-ness!
This was also the first time I had been on a plane in some 5 or 6 years. You can see what happened to me about 3 years ago….. It was a stressful time for me, VERY stressful.
I can certainly say I’m a lucky guy, but I won’t bull shit you.
I MADE my own luck, I hunted and killed my prey, I blasted through brick walls and sprinted up mountains. Many tried to stop me, many hated on me.
I still said F**K it and stuck to the MOST important things in life:
1) Family
2) Friends
3) Integrity
4) Work Ethic
The next USC Cert is in Ft Lauderdale, bring your A Game because that’s the ONLY game I accept!
The weekend to change your life is ahead, yours for the taking, or, let opportunity pass you by.
Peace!

It was 5 years ago…. On April 1st, 2006, I uploaded my first ever video to you tube.
I was running my training from my garage at the time, training ONLY Wrestlers & Football players, kinda like what I do now
I was rockin’ a self made web site and a simple blog because web designers back in the day were charging over $ 200 per hour. OUCH!
My lack of knowledge with web sites never stopped me from trying my best to spread the word about my training methods.
I still remember recording that very first video. I went up stairs & asked my wife if she could record a quick video for me as a favor
I was using a digital camera back then and as you can tell, my garage was heated, I was sweating bullets during my workout
Friends AND family thought I was crazy, thinking something was wrong me because I had ideas of teaching people how to get strong on the internet. The BIG joke is that I could barely use a computer, unable to even create a PDF document!
Truth be told, I AM CRAZY, this is probably why I am successful.
My craziness blended with my mental toughness AND my passion for strength and muscle building is unrivaled. It drove me to where I am today, all the way back from age 13 when I dreamed of opening my own gym one day…until finally making it happen, even if the start was in my garage…
It was heaven…. I always wanted my own gym. I used to have my Dad drive me all around NJ so I could visit the gyms and see what type of equipment they had and how they ran things. I saw myself as a gym owner, I KNEW it would happen one day!
Beginning in my garage and training only the athletes I wanted to work with was a dream to me. Others laughed while I kept charging onward & upward.
I remember when my wife and I bought that house, I was hunting for a home with a 2 car garage because I KNEW what I wanted to do
I knew I would begin my business inside my garage while working as a teacher.
The ceilings were barely high enough for my hands to punch a hole in the ceiling, there might have been 1 inch of clearance, NO kidding!
Before you tube was in existence, I was working with Wrestlers and Football players from my parents back yard and their tiny 1 car garage. Imperfection didn’t bother me in the least, on the other hand, lack of action DID bother me. I knew if I just worked my ass off, good things would finally happen.
I TRULY miss those simple days when the internet was still young, where the “noise” was less and everything
was extremely raw and natural. There were less Bull Shit artists on the internet and certainly less copy cats and cry babies.
There were maybe 4 or 5 web sites that you could truly go to for quality training information compared to nowadays where there is an overabundance of information that confuses everyone to no end.
I would go to wrestling clubs to train wrestlers with bodyweight only, often times selling workouts and training manuals that I self made from Staples with a 3 ring binder that I shoved inside my red Adidas Bag.
I went out and trained with real people in the real world, yet today, so many people only see the outer layer of The Underground.
They see a big following and a popular blog on the internet, a busy warehouse gym…. they think it all happened easily and overnight.
People rarely dig deep to see what REALLY exists and how it ALL came to fruition. The late nights, the early mornings, the work on weekends, the working during my lunches and never listening to the radio for countless years on end as I would only listen to training or business related CDs to gain more knowledge and bring my closer and closer to my dreams.
I did this as a married man with kids, trust me, it would have been WAY easier if I wasn’t a family man, BUT, my family motivated me to kick ass, I wanted my kids to always be able to look at me as someone who took charge of life and lived his dreams rather than dreamed his life. I KNEW if I did it, my kids would do the same with their own dreams
It was a struggle and people often told me to quit. I was told to keep my teaching job with my pension and health benefits safely lined up.
My training days go back further than many dare to imagine. When I was 19 or 20 I got a job as a trainer in a hospital fitness center. I loved it and worked my way through undergrad and still kept some hours when I was a full time teacher. Then, I began grad school while coaching wrestling and teaching full time.
Somehow, someway, I found time to travel to people’s homes and train them in their living rooms.
At the end of the night, around 9 PM, I would be found in the gym, training with my walkman on, because that was sooooooo damn long ago there was NO such thing as an I POD!!!
In high school I would stay awake late at night, reading all my bodybuilding magazines until 1, 2 or even 3 AM in the middle of the night. Today, it’s NO different. I have vintage training books scattered all around my house so I can read them on a regular basis. I can’t put them down, I can’t let them go.
As they say, Every overnight success story has a long 12 year history.
For those of you reading my blog and hoping to become a Strength Coach and run your own Warehouse Gym, let me tell you…. it takes WORK, a LOT of damn hard work.
With the internet, people forget about real life human interaction, which is what REALLY counts.
Wanna know when I feel MOST at home & most comfortable? When I’m training athletes or working with other Coaches in my gym, where the music is loud, the weights are rusty and I’m sweating bullets. That is ME. It’s where the proving grounds REALLY happen.
One guy told me I could grow my business anywhere because I’m a “Marketing Machine.”
ha ha ha
How soon we forget and how quick we are to judge when we do not know the journey of a man. The ability to grow my business comes down to the fact that the athletes I train become Bad Mother F**ers. They become one man wrecking machines and the RESULTS are what count the most. Period.
Want “marketing”? It’s called getting AMAZING results and showing your clients you truly & genuinely care for their success in sports AND life.
Those who see the surface think a fancy web site with cool logos will do the trick. Then, they wonder why they haven’t made millions of dollars after their first year. Give me, Give me, Give me…. go to Mc Fucking Donalds if you want instant gratification.
In the REAL World, you gotta earn your success, there are NO hand outs.
The weights are my passion and my blood.
It’s what has ALWAYS driven me and it’s what I live and breathe. I want to lift heavy shit and be around heavy shit. I want to learn about ALL things strength because chasing strength helped me build my mental strength and save my life in the process.
Nothing I have ever came to me easily. There have been MANY struggles and I had to earn everything I’ve achieved through blood, sweat and tears.
500 videos in 5 years is a small milestone.
A large reason why I am still here is because of my wife and kids, and, a small group of close friends who believed in me and guided me along the way.
And… a HUGE reason as to why I bust my ass so much is because of the feedback I get from YOU. I have gained so much from the world of strength and muscle building and I see what it does for others so this is just the beginning. You can expect MUCH more from me, every time, I’ll be giving my ALL, it’s the only way I know how to roll!
Thank YOU
Peace!

First off, BIG thanks to Dan Gibson for hooking me up with a kick ass shirt and a HUGE congrats to him for his success. I LOVE hearing success stories from Dudes who’ve rolled through my Underground Strength Coach Cert.
As you can see, I believe in constant education, regardless of whether or not you’re a Strength Coach or simply an active lifter chasing greater strength, muscle, speed and overall BadAss-ness (is that even a word!!??).
I ranted before about contacting coaches through NJ, NYC, Philly & Pa. and NONE of them responded to the powerlifting seminar. The better way to view this is to understand the food chain. Those who didn’t take action will likely be at the bottom of the food chain, i.e. LESS successful.
Now, onto the upper body blast workout….
This is the first part of my upper body workout and I cranked several variations of the floor press combined with several variations of pull ups.
The floor press variations were:
- varied grip width to attack different areas of the chest, shoulders and triceps
- Use of bands for greater resistance than my body is used to (doubled a mini band around the swiss bar)
- used a swiss bar (neutral grip) to take undue strain of my shoulders
- used chains to accommodate resistance (heavier at the top, lighter at the bottom). The chains also force the shoulders to stabilize more as the chains sway and pull the bar around
- used the sling shot on the last set for less resistance in the bottom, coupled with high reps for a burn out set. This CRUSHES the triceps!
For my pull ups (which I eat for breakfast by the way
I cranked varied grips and bar handles as well:
- underhand
- overhand
- thick handle close grip for added grip work
- recline rows on ropes for added grip work
- mixed grip (one hand over, one hand under)
As you advance in your training it’s important to use variety on the BASICS. Don’t get carried away with being too fancy and wild, the stuff that works ALWAYS will work, and that comes down to the good ol’ basics and their many variations.
In speaking with some of the strongest men in the world, they always remind me to stick to the basics, don’t get caught up in the fancy stuff that has a cool name or a cool ring to it. Often times, some of those workouts from overseas were specifically made for gifted athletes who were hand picked by coaches to experiment on.
Make small changes to the basics:
- add some chains
- change the bar you use
- If deadlifting try rack pulls or deficit pulls
- If squatting try switching up your stance. Do you always use a box? Try NO box, or, vice versa.
- Do you always bench with a straight bar? Try a swiss bar or a thick bar. Try floor pressing instead of bench pressing.
- Do you ALWAYS go heavy? Try getting in sets of 8 – 15 reps and your body will get an ass whoopin’ like never before.
- Are you always deadlifting heavy and straining through reps? That will kill your back in no time flat. Try going lighter and doing higher volume with short rest periods.
- Always squatting with a bar on your back? Try putting the bar somewhere else, like THIS.
In the end, do NOT be afraid to have FUN while you train.
That’s what it’s ALL about. When you start having fun you’ll keep getting stronger.
I just gave you a good number of ways to switch up your training while sticking to the basic strength and muscle building exercises.
Now, it’s up to YOU to do something about it.
By the way, I DID promise you a video of Dan Gibson back when he was training inside his father’s unique auto garage and training like a true Underground BEAST. Check his video below, I love it!
Peace!

At age 25 I was going through a hellish time in life. I had a bad case of “God complex” and left a job (voluntarily) which I loved and was very successful at with hopes of making a difference at a new position.
Guess I thought I could save the world, which, for teachers, is the way you MUST think if you wanna do a GREAT job and it pushes you to think outside the box and bring better and better things to the students. But, trying to save the world wasn’t my job, and I learned the hard way.
I was stressed beyond belief yet somehow juggled my training, full time job, coaching wrestling, training and competing in BJJ and to cap it all off I tore my ACL and cried in the middle of a class during Grad School.
Yep, that SUCKED. Life at 25.
That was 10 years ago yet it seems more like 10 minutes ago. Funny how pain and suffering are things we NEVER forget. Pain and suffering also motivates me to NEVER go back to that feeling or that place whether it be holding down a horrible job or losing wrestling matches. This is when I learned about lifestyle design….. the hard way.
I thought it would be interesting, motivating, inspirational and educational ALL at once to interview a 25 year old who has crafted a life according to his rules as well as being a Damn STRONG dude.
Regardless of your age, we can ALL learn something from this 25 year old stud who crafted a pretty kick ass life for himself and can Bench Press 225 for 20 + reps and only weighs 185 lbs.
Pretty darn cool. Grab some coffee or whip up a protein shake, here’s 22 minutes of Nate Green, enjoy
I have learned how to go after life the same way I learned to go after strength. It’s a constant evolution, you’re always finding new ways to get stronger, bigger and faster.
Same in life…. you’re always trying to climb your personal Mount Everest. Time goes fast. Life is too short to be weak or stick with a job that makes you miserable.
Make it happen!
Please leave your comments / questions below.
Peace!

I watch lots of biographies on TV and love to read biographies and autobiographies.
I probably read Arnold’s ‘Education of a Bodybuilder’ over 100 times while in high school alone. I read it many more times after high school as well. I basically memorized the book, through time, I began “becoming Arnold” during my workouts.
I lost myself and found myself. It was the perfect way to escape some of my inner demons and perhaps that’s why I would train for up to 30 days in a row with NO days off.
I kept RE-signing Arnold’s book out of the school library to make sure the other kids weren’t learning Arnold’s secrets of strength and muscle building, ha ha.
I filled out countless library cards with my name for 2 years straight for that book alone.
These documentaries and biographies remind me of something constantly: The BIG success stories always overcome LOTS of adversity. LOTS of it….. Emphasis on the world LOTS.
It doesn’t mean we HAVE to struggle, but, for some strange reason it tends to come with the territory more often than not.
You think you’ve got it rough? Likely you don’t….
I watched the Bio of Rodney Dangerfield on TV, one of the most famous comedians in the world. Whip up a protein shake or get yourself some coffee and WATCH this video.
You’re gonna learn from perhaps the most unlikely person I ever imagined to be influenced by…. Rodney Dangerfield
He grew up in a home HATED by his Mother.
He got no affection and had no friends to play with. ZERO. He ate lunch alone as he played alone in his backyard.
His Mom would leave HALF a sandwich on the back patio and he would eat lunch alone.
He was born and grew up through the great depression and he worked jobs before and after school such as working at corner stands selling newspapers.
He went through hellish times as a kid and people payed him nickels for things that seriously could have left him for dead. Things I do NOT want to reveal through an article, it seriously hit me deep in my heart when I learned what Rodney did to earn money and affection as a young kid.
His parents didn’t care and never asked where he was.
He found solitude in laughter and making other people laugh.
He got NO love from his parents so he found a way to get love from the crowd by making them laugh.
He bombed many, many, MANY times. MOST people would have quit by now.
He had to leave stand up comedy after he was finally beginning to gain steam and garner success because he was married and had a son to care for and his wife felt it was NOT good to travel around the world as a comedian when he had to be there for his son.
He agreed with his wife and quit show biz. He knew what it was like to have a poor family environment so he gave up the ONE thing that made him feel loved.
He knew family was # 1 and knew he had to make it work.
He started his own aluminum siding business and grew his siding business in order to care for his family. No more show biz…..
He busted his ass to make things work even though he wasn’t following his passion of comedy.
He eventually got divorced, got involved in drugs, went through depression (actually, got MORE depressed than his days of NO love from his parents) and once again, got back into show biz. He simply couldn’t deny his passion. It was calling him and all his tough times, his age, everyone telling him it’s NO good, etc could not stop him from following his passion.
Again, he picked up steam, then changed his name from Jack Roy to Rodney Dangerfield. This way, if he bombed on stage no one would know who Rodney Dangerfield was!
The success was coming again, the money was coming. He branded himself with the way he walked, the way he talked and constantly joked about getting “NO respect”. This was NOT an act though, it was REALLY him. He didn’t try to copy or steal from others. He was being Rodney, plain and simple.
His jokes were never good enough. He would spend months and months working on jokes that would only last a few minutes. He wanted to master his craft. Good wasn’t good enough.
It wasn’t a joke, he got NO respect from his Mom. ZERO.
As his success grew he tried to mend his family life and re-married his ex, they had another baby and things
were STILL rocky.
He was so scarred from his upbringing he wanted to try so hard to make it better for his own kids.
Somehow, with the rough home life, he kept the success of his stand up gigs going stronger and stronger.
His marriage was on the rocks for a second time, his aluminum siding business was growing and he was doing
stand up comedy on the side.
His passion was his SIDE gig at the ripe, young age of late 40s!!!
He made it onto MAJOR TV late night talk shows watched by millions and headlined at the Biggest, Best theaters
in NYC, Vegas and around the world.
He was making some big bucks and show biz was looking VERY promising.
While working on the siding of a customers home he knocked on the door and asked the guy if he could turn on his TV. The guy said sure, go ahead….
There was Rodney, on the biggest late night talk show in the world and the guy wasn’t sure what the heck was going on!!! Here is the guy who is doing my siding and he’s on TV!!!!???
Although Rodney’s show biz was picking up more steam than ever before, his wife wasn’t happy and she eventually grew ill, then, passed away.
He had 2 kids the ages of 7 and 9.
He was in his LATE 50s and was now a single father, and had to raise them AND run a business.
Heck, try raising 2 kids this age in your 30s and you’ll see it’s LOTS of work, then, add on top trying to become the world’s best comedian, strength coach or _________ (fill in the blank) and the stress will certainly pile sky high!
Rodney was undeterred. He didn’t give up. He was going to live his dreams, follow his passion AND be a great father no matter what!!
So, what did he do? He opened up his own theater with a partner, they called it ‘Dangerfield’s’.
His comedy theater was booming, he found ways to make it a massive success while being a single father almost hitting his young 60s.
He was almost 60 for crying out loud and refused to stay down when he was knocked down sooooooo many times.
He was then asked to be an actor in one of the most hilarious movies of its time, ‘Caddyshack’ – he was payed a flat salary of 30 grand.
He LOST money because other offers came in for comedy and acting at 50 grand.
BUT, he went with what was right for his family and stuck to his integrity. He connected most with the actors in Caddyshack compared to the others.
This was what felt right for Rodney so he stuck with his gut instinct.
He connected with the actors, writers and producers of Caddyshack and it was a HUGE boost for his career.
He was able to make a decision based on what he felt was best and in alignment with his integrity. Because of that, he performed at his best.
This reminds me of my days of going on job interviews at strange fitness centers that I have NO clue what I was thinking even applying for these places!!??
I needed a job but deep in my heart I wanted to train people hardcore style, if I was in a posh atmosphere I NEVER would have survived, I would have gone crazy and quit.
I was offered MANY jobs from these places and every time a position was offered I would lie, telling the manager I just took a job at a different fitness company.
INTEGRITY. Don’t lie to yourself, follow your heart and your passion.
How old are you…. are you TOO old?
Rodney didn’t finally “Make It” till his late 50s or early 60s!!!
Most people retire by that age, he was just getting started after battling uphill since his early 20s!!! 40 years of TRYING!
Are you too young?
Is the timing wrong?
Do your parents hate you?
The most successful people, regardless of being Strength Coaches, actors or whatever often times have gone through some seriously hellish times.
They did what Rocky said you MUST do: Keep getting up.
It doesn’t matter who can take the hardest punch, it depends on who can keep getting up every time he gets knocked down!
It’s never gonna be the perfect time, place or situation. The dream becomes reality when you take life by the balls. This is what I know…
Yep.
I agree.
Time to kick some ass!
Peace!

One of the most powerful questions ever asked to me was “Why do I think I was put on this earth?”
It led me to REALLY ask myself why I’m here, what my legacy will be, how will I represent for my kids and be able to look them in the eyes and tell them to turn their dreams into reality. It challenged me to believe in what I was set out to do. I also put a large amount of intrinsic pressure on myself to turn my dreams into reality.
I kept replaying the scenario of my daughter asking me if she should take a BIG adventure towards her dreams and I would tell her yes, BUT, she then replies to me that I have NO right telling her what to do as I never left the town I grew up in, worked in the town I grew up in and basically played it safe ALL my life.
My fear of disappointing my daughter pushed me over the edge.
And, let me tell you, making life career choices is WAAAAAY different when you have a wife and 2 kids VS being single. If I was single I would have slept in my car and not cared, but for me to leave my teaching job of $ 94, 300 per year it was NOT so easy.
Now, here’s where it gets tricky. Some of you THINK you’re living the dream, but, in reality, you’re NOT. You’re going about it half assed. You’re doing it part time and not pushing the envelope to turn things into full time.
Instead of spending time mastering your craft and getting your name out to those who would want to learn from you, you’re wasting much of your time engaging in time wasting activities that will deliver NO pay off to turning your dreams into reality.
You’re making BS excuses to give yourself the green light to NOT go the distance.
I still remember my first Orthopedic Surgeon, he ALWAYS asked me what I would do with my life, and when I answered that I would become a teacher, he said, “NO. You need to become a Doctor or a Lawyer. Whatever you do, you need to become the BEST.”
Granted, he was partial to the Doctor / Lawyer gig, but, most importantly, he was REALLY partial to becoming my BEST.
I don’t see any other way to live life, other than full out, doing your absolute best to turn your passions and dreams into reality.
I won’t preach, my friend, you just gotta dig deep and go for it. Plan it out, lay the foundation and put the proper wheels in motion. You CAN make it happen. Trust me, I did it and I had LOTS of cards stacked against me, LOTS.
As they say, every over night success story has a 10 year history…..
In Strength,

I am psyched by all the feedback I got from the last Blog on kickin’ ass in life AND lifting, of course, I had my fair share of cry babies e mail me, but that’s fine, come’s with the territory.
Remember, you can’t make everyone happy. If your goal is trying to please everyone you are likely holding back and playing it safe. What I do and what I speak about is NOT for everyone, it is for a select group of people who want to challenge themselves BIG time while growing both mentally and physically.
Those who don’t agree with my intensity or my methods can go eat the FREE pizza they give away at Retro Fitness. Or is that some other gym? Heck, what kind of gyms are being built nowadays? Sirens going off for people grunting, dumbbells no heavier than 50 lbs?
Sounds like a conspiracy to build a weaker country, that just ain’t cool.
Something I wanna speak about today is the X Factor.
I mean…. THE X Factor.
The X Factor simply comes down to mental toughness.
Much of my success in life today I attribute to what I learned and experienced through wrestling and training for wrestling.
I learned to train through pain. I learned that pain was good, and, soon enough, how to block out pain and ignore it. I learned to do what others would not do. I learned that I did NOT have to like everything I was doing, regardless, if I wanted to become better, I still had to do it.
I learned to find a way to enjoy a 4 – 5 mile run every other night in the 20 something degree weather. I knew others were NOT doing it so I made sure to do the work others refused to do or made excuses for not doing them.
I learned that after a short time, those who had talent and no work ethic could not compete against someone with some talent but a TON of work ethic.
The same applies to my success in business and strength training.
I have to get LOTS of work done for my business. This often means waking up early and / or staying up late to meet deadlines and climb my own personal mountain of success. To become stronger and to continue making gains in training, even after 22 years of training, I need to remain committed no matter how tired or exhausted I may be.
At age 35, being conditioned is WAY tougher than I was in my early 20s. NO excuses, it must be done, so, I get it done, no matter what it takes.
Now, I am not a special forces BEAST, not even 1% close to those men, but, compared to the people I come across daily, sometimes I feel like I am quite far removed from these people and that bothers me quite a lot.
I find myself being a rarity rather than the norm and I don’t think this is a good thing. When I look at adults AND today’s generation of teenagers, I see that things are REALLY getting out of hand.
TOO many excuses, TOO much weakness in mind AND body, TOO many people asking for handouts when they ARE capable of getting things done themselves
There is too much BS and I hear it ALL the time:
- Crying over lack of sleep, “I’m so tired I didn’t sleep enough last night. I went to bed soooo late.”
The Answer: Shut the hell up, suck it up and charge through your day. If you can’t handle being tired then demonstrate discipline and get to bed early. Remove the crap in your life that keeps you up so late.
- “I didn’t have my coffee yet, I can’t function without my coffee.”
The Answer: Shut the hell up and deal with it. If missing your coffee is the make or break factor in how successful your day is then you have a MAJOR issue.
Learn to go through your day with challenges, it’s the REAL world. This means you need to be able to perform at high levels if you missed breakfast, if you slept very little, if you missed your coffee, if the weather is bad, etc.
The only thing holding you back is YOU, not your coffee, lack of sleep, shitty weather or the dark clouds.
- “Is there any way you can give me a discount?”
The Answer: In life, there are NO hand outs or discounts. You are capable of getting what you want, but, by capacity you choose to bed a mental midget and an excuse maker. You want something? Go F**IN’ GET IT!!!
Earn what you want and then you will GET “it”.
I’ve done “Free” for LOTS of poeple and 99.999999% of them NEVER respect what they were given because they did NOT earn it. They take advantage of it and show NO respect towards it.
I am not kidding around when I see how not only today’s generation is getting soft and weak, but also the adults of today.
Everyone wants “it” for Fr-ee or reduced price because they deserve a special discount. Everyone wants it “my way”.
I remember when I taught at the middle school, in the beginning of the year, if a student didn’t get along with you he / she would tell mommy and daddy and they would write a note to the counselor to be switched out of class.
“Boo Hoo, my teacher made me do work, transfer me to an easier class.” How lame is that!? The schools are encouraging AND enabling laziness, weakness and dishonesty.
If you are lacking in mental toughness you seriously need to go back to my motto:
Get comfortable being UNcomfortable.
Train in ways you are not used to:
- Don’t like to run? Go and hit hill sprints and trail runs, or, hit a sprint in between every set of every exercise you do.
- Train in uncomfortable environments. Train outdoors in the cold or heat. NO more air conditioning and stop training in your comfortable shorts and t shirt in your posh gym. Sometimes this shit has to hurt, sorry, that’s the TRUTH.
- Always training with light weights and circuits?
Slap some heavy freaking weight on the bar and move heavy weight till you feel like your spine is about to get ripped out of your body. NOW you can go see your chiropractor.
Here’s the bottom line:
There is NO FREE. There is NO Easy.
If you REALLY want something, It has to be earned and it has to be worked for.
That’s the straight up truth. Perhaps the truth does not suit you.
Your want easy, cheap and fr-ee, then expect the results and the journey to be lame at best.
Start training the mind as I always encourage, if you’re not training for mental toughness you’re contributing
to the pussification of the entire world, not just America.
Get busy kickin’ ass or get the hell out of the way.
NO place for weakness.

It’s the year 2011 and I NEVER make New Year’s Resolutions, I ALWAYS resolve to do things NOW. I’m an action oriented guy, waiting for the perfect time does nothing.
But, ONE thing I am careful with is who I contribute my work to and who I associate myself with.
The lack of integrity that I have come across has bothered me, and NO, I will not harp on it, this is just me giving a rant that for those who read my blog, I hope you continue to live your life with passion and integrity.
