On most weekends, I would take random trips to globo gyms just so I could train somewhere warm. I locked on my headphones and zoned out as hard rock blasted through my ear drums. I attacked the weights with a ferocious intensity and often times got reprimanded by the various gym managers for dropping heavy weights and using chalk.
One Saturday, on my way out of a Gold’s Gym, the kid working the front desk began asking me about training. He was intrigued BIG time, as he witnessed me tearing up the gym in solitaire, head phones locked on, my thick muscles stretching through my t shirt. He was 16 years old and a high school wrestler. He damn near dropped his jaw on the counter when I told him I train at home using nothing but a barbell, a few dumbbells and a squat rack.
