I get busy again and finish off the workout and give you the low down on what it REALLY takes to get strong and how you can build muscle.

Plus, you can see that I get BUSY because I am sweatin’ buckets after my workout!

In a nut shell, so you can see my workout, here is how it all went down:

1) warm up with movement prep, soft tissue work, indian club training, bands, abs

2) Barbell Military Push Press: 2 heavy sets

3A) dips 2 x max

3B) mixed grip chins 2 x max

4) 1 Arm dumbbell row (Kroc Rows) 130 lbs x 25 reps ea.

5A) dips 2 x max

5B) bent over shoulder raises 2 x max

5C) Dumbbell Cheat Curls 2 x 8-10 reps

Later that night I worked the sleds, prowler and did some running and ab work.

Just another day in the office, Kids!

Zach,

Hope you don’t short your camera out with all that sweat drippin’ off ya!

Great vid and love to see others actually getting sweaty from their workouts.

Drives me nuts when I see someone working out and they talk how hard they train but they never sweat. Tells me they ain’t workin’ out as hard as they think.

Good to keep a towel handy, at least to dry the face and hands and the equipment when needed.

Rock on,

Walter

Hey Zach, great vidz and stuff its really been of a great to me…now I see training differently than before…keep it up homie. Anyways… I train regularly but I have a question though, and it may or may not be answered, but should the workouts during the week focus on a particular muscle on a day or it doesn’t have to be that way? example like shoulders-Monday, legs-Wednesday and Friday-something else….just something I’m wondering…thanks beforehand

Love the single-arm dumbbell row, one of my favourite back exercises.

Could you do a video showing some bent-over barbell rows with various width of grips? And a range of pullups too? All great for back.

Gym I go to has a great seated row machine (load the plates either side) with 4 different grip widths/angles – fantastic to go heavy and risk of injury is low as you’re seated, with chest braced against a pad in front of you.

Thanks for these great video clips Zach.
