Man, I am having a WILD week! I have a time sensitive issue here and hopefully you can help and drop a comment with your thoughts
Between the release of Joe DeFranco and I with The Lost Secrets of Strength, my 1 Day Underground Strength Coach Cert this Saturday and People Signing up for The Brass Balls Coaching Program (As Far Away as Norway) I can tell you, I am a CRAZY Bruddah right now!!!
Here is what’s going down Thursday at 7 AM & why I need your Help!
My bruddah and homeboy, Smitty from The Diesel Crew is gonna get picked up by me EARLY for some grub at a Dirty Jerzee Diner.
Immediately afterwards we’re heading to The Underground Strength Gym and will begin filming our new training course, and it will be off the F***ing Hook!!!
Hey, what else do you expect to happen when Diesel Meets Underground!?!?!

With so many people on the workout tip not training, I think most folks would love to here some of the things that they might be or are not doing to get better (no sup/wrong sups, diet etc)!

Oh hell yes… Smitty and Zach teaming up! OK, here’s what I think:
1) You guys will likely cover some crazy grip work (Diesel Crew is huge on grip strength, and I know you dig a killer grip too, Zach). I’ll guess you’ll also show us a quick, effective training method for getting our asses into shape fast.
2) I’d like to see you guys talk about a solid training and nutrition plan for building strength and muscle WHILE ALSO burning fat! It would be cool to see you both demo a balls to the wall workout too.
3)Name ideas? I’m not even sure what your course will be about, but how about:
-Beyond Strong: It’s Time To KILL IT!
-How To Get Your Ass in Shape NOW!

Hey I agree with everybody that posted before me. As far as eating at the diner it will be a F****** preworkout man meal!!!
I have spend all of time on your site, and some on Diesel’s site. There is alot of info out there and simialr but different strategies. My biggets thing I would like to see is bringing it all together. One solid “schedule” if you will. I know nothing is set in stone but just some guide lines. Hope that makes sense.

Aiiight….I been to Jersey once. and it was Perth Amboy to Demo some “Above ground” storage tanks (winter 2005). Got hammered in NYC (and a few scary joints in Jersey!)!! The food there was blah. but since I am from Texas we have different varietys, so nutrition before and after a lift/workout. Meaning load up on ??? or dont load up on???…my worry is creatin and a 15/16 year old football player.
1.)Call it “Scarfing (insert ur local verb…mau, munch, greaze)Before the Push”
2.) Want to see making corrections in “weak” arms ie…a lagging bench with say the right/left arm trailing. I know Hulse mentioned it once but I didnt catch the correction. Call it “Boneing up”
3.) since I am 47 6’1 275 and should be 200 and just had back surgery and my Doc said “no more dead lift, squats yada yada yada. Call it “Over wieght old bitches got your back” Workout.
You are the man. an idea for you and I later…I wrestled in high school …Texas is now catching up (Big Market????)

2. I would like to see Upper body power Number one reason they don’t make a plyo box for your Back,chest, and arms. So whats the best moves and how to do them.

yo Z to answer your 1st Q;Using sandbags, KB, chains etc to rehab shoulders, how to get 10lbs of muscle in two weeks, woods trainiing(taking a keg and wtd BB in the woods, squatting and lunging for 1/2 day…. 2nd Q;How to battle joint pain from heavy lifting, muscular strength imbalances in limbs and lumbo/pelvic area, periodized plan for pulling two eighteen wheelers..lol 3 Q; GROUND DEISEL-Check your fat ass ego @ the door.. Kick ass gentlemen.

What to film? – kettlebells and sandbags

What to eat:
1). ala Rocky: down a glass of raw eggs. Get in the diner, slam down the eggs and get out to your gym. (I do it all the time, several ways to check the eggs so ya don’t get bad ones. Never gotten sick from it). Only for the hardcore!
What to cover:
2). Simple template that covers one week that could easily be adjusted and followed for many weeks (focus on strength/strength endurance i.e. work capacity because nothing else matters in the real world):
For example, 5-6 days schedule where you have body movements listed for each day and then you plug in the lifts you want to do for that day from a list of basic movements. Each day is different but the same. Get my drift?
What to call it:

I’m sure your gonna hit your grips,dips and dead lifts maybe some tire and sled work and i would hope a weighted dip challenge will arise!
I think it would be good to see some strength/endurance work ie squat and presses, along with some balance work (uni lateral stabilazation) 1 arm bench press,pistol squats… and some low center of gravity drills, crab walks, 3 point stance with dumbells…
Porkroll ? only in Jersey my man, only in Jersey. You guys should make that the state bird or something! What is that crap anyway? Me,I would go for some eggs over easy, rye toast a side of oatmeal and a gallon of coffee.

U Guys are bad ass for these comments, not only are they hilarious, but you helped BIG Time w/the direction we will take for the creation of this training course, and YES, you are ALL right, we will be making this the most kick ass course you have ever experienced.
It will be a plug n’ play course to follow along, doable for anyone training at a gym and / or at home.
Most of you guys are waaaaaay off on my eating though, ha ha
