I've been stepping up and voicing my opinion on the overbearing, ego-maniac parents and coaches out there who are hurting their kids with shitty training programs and overall shitty decisions pertaining to training and ultimately, life. Why is it acceptable to let anyone and their Mom run the high school weight room? I thought this was about the kids? I understand sport coaches don't like this, so they threaten their players and disallow any of them to train at The Underground Strength … [Read more...]

Intermittent Fasting & Mental Toughness Workout
Last night was a rough workout for me.... as many of you know if you've been here for a while, my workouts don't focus on solely the physical development of strength aspect but largely on the mental toughness aspect and pushing myself to greater heights. Last night started with about 10 sets of snatches. My body felt like it was on "empty" from the get go. Once I finished my snatches, I told one of my coaches that it's time for me to crank a "mental toughness" workout. Once I finished that … [Read more...]

I don’t think I’ve had breakfast in two years now. Or at least regularly. Sometimes if I’m gonna be traveling or something I do just because I’d get sick on the plane if I didn’t eat. Or if I know I will be without food for a very long … [Read more...]

Intermittent Fasting, Jack LaLanne & YOUR Health

I had been single for a looong time and I was used to revolving my life around training, eating, sleeping and basically living my life on my own schedule. Bodybuilding and working out was what I revolved my life around. I had a regimented life and nothing stood in my way when it came to eating and … [Read more...]
