Why You Need SQUATS & The STRONG Life Tip Of The Day

Ed-Gillie-Squat

Squats are the cornerstone of The STRONG Life Training Program.

When done correctly, you squat deep.

You squat heavy.

Sometimes you Squat with lighter weights but higher reps. 10 and 20 rep squats. They are brutal but they are a necessary gut check. You need that gut check to avoid being "normal".

Since I was a kid, I began Squatting on Mondays because I remember that ONE time it was "Chest day" and every bench was taken at the gym. I was waiting around until I said, "FK it, let's SQUAT." All the squat racks were wide open.

I was 14, maybe 15 years old at the time but I learned that if you are like "everyone else", doing the same as everyone else, you will NOT be a Success.

If everyone else is benching, it MUST be wrong. I MUST Squat instead.

You might be saying, "I already know this...."

Sounds like the parent who tells me, "He'll be lifting at school...."

Sounds great.

NO time and NO room here for those who are "good enough" and "I already know that" types.

The STRONG Man is ALWAYS Learning.

The weak man......
