CrossFit Endurance – Breaking ALL the Rules

share

Brian MacKenzie crossfit enduranceBack in the day, in fact, even today, when people train for long distance running or running of any sort, their training involves running, more running and of course, some more running.

I even get countless horror stories from my track & field throwing & sprinting athletes telling me how they run 2 miles as a "warm up".

To become the best you need to learn from the best. That's exactly what's about to go down on June 4th & 5th at The Underground Strength Gym.

Training for running is getting a bitch slap right now thanks to B Mack, the Mad Scientist behind CrossFit Endurance. I've even got a few friends following the CrossFit Endurance model and they are straight up animals when it comes to training because of what B Mack has them doing during their workouts.

Yes, my buddies run, but they run like cheetahs instead of elephants. I get smashed by these guys when we go mountain biking and their brutal workouts f**k me up BIG time. When they lift, they go HEAVY.... I'm talking guys who are deadlifting 2 x their bodyweight during workouts mixed in with kettlebells, sandbags and sprints.

This is the shit that BEASTS are made of, I've seen the results firsthand.

Things changed in the endurance running world when some dude by the name of Brian MacKenzie took the endurance world by the balls as a 6'1" 190 lb BEAST. B Mack began prepping distance runners (including himself) with various methods of high intensity training methods.

It's not too often we see a guy running 26, 50 and even 100 mile races who looks like B Mac, and they sure as heck don't train this way.

If you've read Tim Ferriss's latest book, The 4 Hour Body, you've seen B Mack's chapters devoted to getting you prepped for a marathon and longer using short, intense workouts.

Remember, it's called Strength AND Conditioning. I see lots of strong guys who can't run and vice versa. I'm ALL about adding the deadliest training weapons to my arsenal. CrossFit Endurance is going to be one of those weapons.

I'm psyched for June 4th & 5th. Remember, my gym is small, space will be limited. B Mack is coming to The Dirty Jerzee to unleash hell, if you ain't there then you just ain't serious. I'm not a fan of anyone who isn't passionate and die hard about training.

  1. I had the chance to work with MacKenzie. This class will be worth your time. For all those thinking about doing it, do it!!! I ran my first marathon with my “long run” being 45mins. No doubt the training will be hard but thats what makes it worth it. Quit wasting your time running countless miles and losing all of your muscular strength, and learn to do it right.

  2. Great lookin’ bike there Zack. I use to have a Giant…I miss riding & will start up once again soon. Why no shock on the back? Also, how are the trail up there in your neck of the woods?

  3. Hey zach, this may be a day late and a dollar short but ya might wanna block out your license plate. Lotta weirdos on the internet, bro.

  4. Dean – full suspension slowed me down BIG time, trails are awesome here in NJ, lost of variety!!!

I live a few minutes from the beach, a few minutes from the trails, it’s the shiz bomb, homie!

  5. Zach, you may have already covered this guy before but thought I would share this with you just in case. He really proves what you preach. Saw this video today and thought I would send it to you. http://www.wimp.com/trainingbars/ this is Denis Minin from the Ukraine. He does some different type of bike workout on here. Thanks for the motivation.
