Its 3:25am…..woke up at 2:15 and just decided to head down to park and crush a bodyweight workout. Not sure why…I don’t know if the universe spoke and I listened…but I got motivated like a savage. First group of athletes at 9:00am….joining the underground inner circle. Ready to take my life and biz to the next level. Love it!!!
Justin, DAMN! That is nuts and awesome at the same time!!
Awesome! I have ALWAYS been the “one man army” when workingout. Nobody, none of my friends or family would ever join me. would get ripped on for it too. Never let that stop me. I have gone QUITE far since i started, I will not give up the fight! No WAY not since i have kicked my ASS SO HARD there is no reason to stop now.
Thank you ZACH!!!!
Lanny, you OWN your life bro, you do NOT follow, you LEAD!!! BOOM!
I tell myself, I can shut my eyes and get another hour of sleep, or get my feet under me and rock n roll! I get up early and do something, anything; pull weeds, wash the car, yoga, throw stones, etc. We all have a self-motivation switch, and the more we use it, the stronger it gets. It really has become like and off on switch for me. I truly believe the extra reps over the years has been wired into that switch. You guys/gals know what I’m talking about. You’re hanging on chin bar with seemingly nothing left and that little voice says “one more, f*** this, you got it, pull dammit!”. You prove to yourself that you really are stronger when the chips are down!
Keep getting stronger in everything! Peace, MG
Up and early before the rest of the “normal” people are up… NO doubt something VERY special about living this way!
Self Motivation is the hardest thing in the world because giving up is the easiest thing.
I remember reading about how Arnold used to hate his “skinny” calves, so he wore clothes that showed them off every time he went to the gym… just to kind of shove that embarrassment he felt, right in his own face, and motivate the shit out of him to fix it.
Love this stuff man. Great post.
Great site! Never been here before. I like the No BS commentary about weight lifting and body building and fighting through pain. I’m trying to find more in your archives related to building 6 pack abs. any suggestions?
