The weekend is upon us and I'm quietly sitting in the kitchen sippin' on some bulletproof coffee as the sky clears up and my mind clears for a throwdown at The Underground Strength Gym in Manasquan, NJ.
I'll be riding my bike to the gym this morning.
Everyday since December I've been waking up around 6 AM.
Sometimes a few minutes earlier or later, but like clock work, my Doberman quietly walks up to my bed and nudges me that it's GO time.
It's her time to get outside, do her business, have me make her breakfast and time to be the Hunter, NOT the Hunted.
Sometimes, the toughest part of the day is simply taking the first step.....
Getting out of bed.....
You might be exhausted physically and or mentally, sore, cold and who knows what else.
But, when you KNOW what the f**k you're doing in this world and more importantly, you know WHY you are doing it, that first step gets easier an easier every day.
You build momentum.
Quickly....
You find beauty in the start of each new day.
You look forward to breaking a record in the squat, deadlift, power clean, doing 1 more pull up, etc.
Rather than allowing circumstances to control you, bring you down or even hold you down, you begin instead to control them.
YOU become the Master of your Fate, The Captain of Your Soul
Let's GO!
Start controlling everything that dares stand in your way.
Opportunity is everywhere.
YOU choose how to react to things, don't allow circumstance to control you.
I wanna hear WHY you train.
Make it count and you have an opportunity to WIN some awesome prizes.
Make excuses and you might as well be just like everyone else.
I have a funny feeling that being like everyone else doesn't sit right with you
That's why you are here and a integral part of Underground Strength Nation.
Let's DO this.....
