This morning I received an instagram message from a young man saying he was super grateful for coming across my Instagram.
He was crying as he sent me an IG message because of the tough times in his country but he told me he felt strong, even though he was crying. He was grateful because when I replied to his message, I sent him a video and that this tiny detail meant a lot to him.
He hoped it was OK for him to message me and he told me he feels he is destined for greatness even though his country is experiencing such troubled times.
I Replied to him via video message and I reminded him, YES, message me anytime and YES, you ARE destined for GREATNESS.
I believe YOU are as well.
Don’t let the naysayers bring you down and tell you otherwise.
You CAN improve your life.
– Write it down. Write exactly what you want and where you want to be in life.
– Decide NOT to allow mediocrity in your life.
My FEAR has always been that my kids will ask me for advice one day and then right when I’m about to answer them, they say…..
Who are you?
You never did anything great in your life.
You never took any chances.
Why am I asking YOU for advice!?
That FEAR drives me towards greatness.
That FEAR drives me towards writing my OWN book of life!
Getting after it and getting better doesn’t have to be complicated.
I hate fancy because it complicates things.
Some people are impressed with fancy but I gotta tell ya…..
I am NOT.
I LOVE results.
Show me a MFer getting results and that to me is the TRUTH teller.
I’ve been up since 5:30 AM and I’ll be hitting my Underground Strength Gym soon.
My excitement for life gets me UP in the morning before the alarm hits. I rarely wake up with an alarm, even though I set that alarm daily, I wake up BEFORE the alarm goes off. It’s as if the universe is sending me a message, get UP! Get out there and share your gifts with the world!
Some Iron Therapy to clear the mind and kick start my day with something powerful and beneficial for ME.
YOU gotta take care of YOU.
And the way to do that is by doing a few key things, EVERY DAY:
1) Train Hard
– I’ve trained every single day this week. Monday through Saturday.
Some days are 15-20 minute circuits.
Other days I sneak in some work with my athletes.
Other days are the full blown, seek & destroy sessions 🙂

2) Connect with GREAT people
When you have a social circle / friends that fire you up, man, it changes things!
You feel CAPABLE.
Make sure you’re networking and finding ways to spend time with GREAT people. People who are goal setters and action takers. Yes, this means you will likely need to travel OUTSIDE of your town or state.
Write down every morning what you’re grateful for.
The little things.
Like your eyes to see the beautiful world.
Your ears to hear the birds chirping and waking you up every morning.
I learned this attitude of gratitude from Tony Robbins 20 years ago and I forgot about it!
When I got back to it, it changed my life!
I know it sounds kind of woo woo but it is powerful, especially if you practice this every single day.
4) Get S–t Done (GSD) aka Do The Work of Your Life.
It was ALL about Doing YOUR Work. It is always about doing YOUR Work. Doing THE work.
Who are YOU?
Why were you put on this earth?
