People have lost their homes yet here we are, day to day complaining about the stupid shyt. I am just as guilty. My hometown is estimated to get power back in 7 days.
Until then, hotel hopping with the family to keep the kids warm.
I've got to do my part and hope to get a bunch of strength fanatics to help do good.

Time: Register at 5 PM - 5:15 PM
Donation: $20 Minimum Per Competitor, Optional To Donate More
Cash OR Checks Payable to: American Red Cross (Sandy Disaster Relief)
Lifting Begins at 5:30 PM
Categories:
High School: Under 150 lbs / 151-200 lbs / Over 200 lbs
Men's Open: Under 150 lbs / 151-200 lbs / Over 200 lbs
Women's Open: Under 150 lbs / Over 150 lbs
High school athletes will use the Rogue Trap Bar (80 lbs empty)
Men & Women will use a straight bar
ALL Competitors get 3 attempts to reach max weight
Rules:
Lift hard, Lift HEAVY and have a kick ass time helping those in need.
There are NO prizes or awards. Show up and break your own PR. This idea JUST came to me & it's critical to get funds to American Red Cross sooner NOT later.

That’s a neat idea Zach. Hard to fully appreciate what a natural disaster is even like, as I live in Central Alberta, Canada. I feel sorry for everyone in those areas, and I just hope that everybody pulls through. Again though, “Deadlift for Chairity” is a real neat idea.
