Rules?
What rules?
F**K the rules!
Sometimes you gotta throw good ol' science out the window and go with your gut instincts.
For me, that means heavy training, having Fun, and Heavy training 🙂
At 33 years young, after 20 years in the iron game, I am STILL learning and man do I feel like there are times when I have just started in te iron game because of how much I learn.
Keep your mind open and fear not the road less traveled.

PPS: Many keep asking me what is the Biggest factor in my success. My simple answer is I take action before 99.9% of others. So many people sit on their ass and procrastinate. Procrastination leaves you stuck in the mud with the majority of other peeps.
Separate yourself from the crow HERE.
Zach, check out this lift I came up with after seeing the “ox lift.” I call it the “horse collar dead lift.” It’ll hit your upper back, and all the rest of the important areas for that matter. This is a combo I like with 3 variations of the lift.

an p.s. – ur site kicks ass, thanks for your work.
Zach,
I hear ya! Train hard and heavy but listen to your body is the way to go.
Nice work on the close grip bench!
One thought: use some pins in that power rack whenever you do benching of any sort. Especially without spotters and when no one is around. That way you can always drop the bar and get out from under it. Hate to see you get stuck under a bar!
Every year almost, somebody dies while benching by getting pinned by the weight. I almost did years ago but my brothers saw me and grabbed the bar. Sure, you can dump it, but when you are tired and that weight pins you , you WILL not think too clearly. It can slowly suffocate a person. Don’t want to see your son without his dad.
Anyway, that’s just my concern. Love your vid’s! Thanks for sharing,
Walter
