Do weighted pull ups help increase your max rep range? I have been doing multiple sets of body weight pull ups (different grips) and I have found success with that but will weighted pull ups increase my 1 set max?

I think I might have to jump in this challenge and just KILL IT.
Maybe start doing clusters of 12-15 to build my strength up or certain reps in a set time.
