I've seen some books out there and "experts" telling you NOT to follow your passion.
They say it's Not what is always "best for business".
SOME people CAN live without pursuing passion. They are fired up about the $$$ in their bank account first & foremost. They don't give a hoot if their following their passion.
I get that. I understand. BUT, I will NEVER understand the lack of passion when it comes to being a Coach for ANY sport. You MUST have passion.
If you don't believe in what you do, no one else will either.
See that tweet I posted above by Coach Pritzlaff from Rutgers University Wrestling?
That is what Coaches Need.
And.....
Athletes NEED a Passionate Coach.
I explain more about Passion below.....

When you have passion, it will carry you through the tough times on your journey.
And you WILL hit tough times. You WILL meet obstacles. Your passion will help you see how the obstacles are actually opportunities.
Of course, the Coaches out there who aren't passionate are NOT reading this blog, seeing my videos, etc.
They're laughing at us.....
They're collecting that pay check and punching that clock....
They're refusing outside help because they believe they are "good enough", even with that losing record...
But wanna know something?
We gotta take care of those in front of us.
Take care of those that are on the bus with us, on the journey to excellence.
You can't worry about the people who don't wanna get on the bus.
Be passionate.
Do the things that others won't do.
Follow Your Passion, I don't care what the "experts" say about Passion.
Live The Code 365,

Even when you are preaching to the choir, there are always a few backups out there within earshot who are listening and getting ready to “hear” the words and to put them into practice. It is worth trying to reach them and gratifying to know that the switch turns on for many. Thank you for continually making the effort to light the fire with your terrific, timeless posts like this one.
