STRONG Life Episode 111 with my man Joe DeSena, SPARTAN Race CEO.
As always, chatting with Joe is inspiring to another level and then some!
Joe was in Tokyo while I was in NJ during this call. Before we got to recording Joe was telling me about the Japanese wrestling culture, how they all train for 5-6 hours a day and how the girls are VERY tough.
Joe always has his wheels turning so he discussed getting a documentary and we moved forward by connecting him with a film producer immediately.
SPEED of Action is crucial if you want more Success in your life.
Once we got to recording, here's what happened.....

I love hearing Joe Rogan’s podcasts + Gary Vee!!!
I listened to the podcast yesterday in preparation for CF Open 17.1 2nd attempt. First attempt I was 6 reps short of finishing before the time cap. My goal going into this Open season was to finish in the top 200 Worldwide in Masters Women 50-54. I started listening to you about a year ago after hearing you on Power Athlete. I knew you and Joe would get me in the right mindset after my failed attempt.
I traveled from Tennessee to Miami about 4 years ago for my first Spartan race. I went to the race not knowing anyone, I left there with a new confidence, a new outlook on life and some of the best friends anyone could ask for. Since that time, I’ve done at least 14 Spartan Races and 4 or 5 Spartan Hurricane Heats, And there was this one time in Georgia that Joe came out to show us how to do 5 minutes of mountain climbers in blue jeans and not get out of breath, (mad respect). Spartan Race led to GoRuck Challenges and even more great friends. I have surrounded myself with strong people and that has really made the largest impact on my life.
Sorry for the life story, but today I stand at 176 Worldwide and I’m damn proud.
On a loop in my head —- “Never stop moving, always move forward, it could always be worse, you could be dead, you’ll puke before you die & you haven’t puked yet, Your brain will quit before your body does”
