  1. Nice! Classics through & through.

As a finisher – when the going gets tough (and the tough gets going! hahaha) – I love “DOWN – Bury me in smoke”.
That tune is like a juicer to me – gets the last drop out of my body. Especially if I have a long gruelling encounter with my kettlebells (snatchtest, 1000-swing-challenge, etc.). Long enough song to fully embrace the rythm & grind.

Also I rediscovered Led Zeppelin for workouts. Not the typical tunes for sweaty workouts but Page just knows who to swing that rythm.
    Cheers
    SVEN

    1. Also:
“Henry Rollins – Move Right In”

Love the man, love his attitude and love the song.

    2. LOVE The Henry Rollins tunes!!!!

Black Coffee & get Some Go Again!!

  2. Hey Kris,
love yr approach to music at the UndergroundShack. Training with you serving as dj must be awesome.
If I ever make it to the States & then to Austin I’ll stop by. 😉
    Cheers

  3. WOD:
    Got my odd-lifting-day done today.

-odd object lifting (riverstones, log, sandbag)
-odd pullups with different length rings
    -odd pushups with medball
-odd famers walk with two different sized KBs & sandbag/KB
-odd double KB swings with two different sized KBs
-odd squats with two different sized KBs
-all done with odd reps, 3 circuits, odd pausetimes

Man – that was odd! hahaha, …
After workout got a shrinking 10min cold shower and went for a nice walk. Now its steaktime and life just feels so damn good!
    Cheers

      1. Sven is my Idol, LOVE that Dude!!!!

Kris Kepler is SIC wit dat music!!!!

  4. Warrior chants are my new preworkout mind shift. Crank it up and let the drums and chants take hold of my soul.
then it is all metal. Amon Amarth-no regrets. Mixed with some cannibal corpse, hatebreed, Dethklok, etc.
I like your list! Some similar and some different tastes one objective! DOMINATE!

  5. you can listen to any Pantera album for a workout. You’ll feel each second of each song, specially if you’re listening to Far Beyond Driven. Try it, you won’t regret it.

“A NEW LEVEL OF CONFIDENCE AND POWER!”

    1. I did concert security for Pantera when I was 22!!! It was a ROUGH night but oh so damn FUN!!!! Asbury Park circa 1999!!!!
