Rebuilding the Body, Fixing Old Injuries & Always Learning

share

I remember my left shoulder and right knee feeling the pain by the time I was 16 years old. At the time of this writing, I am 44. Time flies yet I have never stopped training, EVER.

What am I to do? Sit home? On the couch? Do that and you literally become the couch. Training must go on. I must continue to learn and evolve. Not just for myself, but for all the athletes I train. Coaching others is a privilege. When an athletes tells me this or that hurts, I ALWAYS have an answer and a solution. I've been there, done that.

And as much as I talk about intensity in training, you should ALWAYS leave the gym with energy in the tank. Don't destroy yourself in the gym. I've done that plenty of times before. My mentality allowed nothing less.

In this video, I share some snippets of my training. To fully understand, you'll have to watch the entire video. Yes, the entire video.

I'm getting back to incorporating more odd objects in my training, learning more about breathing, hip mobility shoulder mobility and more.

I get fired up because the more I learn, the more I can share with athletes and the more I can share with Coaches I get to work with.

A great compliment to this video is the latest STRONG Life Insider about being Tougher than your excuses. Listen HERE.

I can come up with a laundry list of excuses for not doing this or that with training. I am NOT cut like that. I want to get better. I want to be uncomfortable. I want to see what I am made of and how much further I can improve.

I refuse to be broken by LIFE.

And that's the thing, if people aren't trying to hold you back, then another obstacle will face you. You need to decide if you will fold and this is how your book of life ends.

You're holding the pen, write YOUR story. The choice is Yours.
