I feel the old Squat Everyday Video with John Broz is appropriate here because of the attitude and mindset. Today, I am shocked with how many excuses athletes come up with while simultaneously not actually being that strong. 

If you're a Coach, you need to realize that we are training athletes for more than just winning in sports, we are trying to develop the mindset of a champion so that their mindset transfers to ALL areas of their life.

If they don't want to win at the highest level, we can only expect from them what they expect of themselves.

Comfort is the Enemy.
