Above, new art work at The Underground Strength Gym....
The day before I had a good workout. Not a Great workout, just good.
Good is the death of Greatness, don't forget that.
I was motivated to crush today's training and needed some heavy weights and to feel some pain. I call this a Warrior Workout. In this Video I explain how I went through this Warrior Workout, how I changed my mindset and how I overcame and punched Mr. Resistance in the face......

I hate it when I just have a “good” workout too. When I get done, I think to myself, “could I have pushed myself harder, done more, got a few more reps in, etc?” When the answer is an easy “yes” I’m disappointed in myself. I just use it as motivation for next time.
Nick, when that happens, get in there and hit 1 more lift but do it with intensity and focus, finish off PROUD of what you did.
NO regrets!
Great stuff as usual Zach. True inspiration. I have recently started sub max training after reading one of Matt Vincent’s books and feel like every work out is just good. I have the mentality where if I am in the gym and not crushing as heavy weight as I can handle I am simply cheating myself. That being said, sub max training does prevent my mind and body from burning out making it easier to tell Mr. Resistance to “F” off.
Jon, Matt is right, though! The BIG lifts, if you KILL them, they kill YOU!
The assistance work can garner more intensity and performed as circuits to give you the feel and intensity you desire.
A great video Zach on overcoming Mr resistance that we all have. Fight back and WIN : )
