  3. What’s up, Zach?
I can’t tell you how great it is to have a potential opportunity to learn the training theories and applications of your system from you and your peers. To have good people take their time and investments to help out the struggling people is beyond appreciated.
I’ve been under the bar for about 16 years now, and its one of the few passions i have in this world. That passion resonates in me and my clients live that passion with me everyday, I make them breath fire. But business is slow, due to lack of business knowledge i suppose, certainly not coaching ability, i believe. We all have trials and tribulations to deal with in our lives, but now is the time that i feel i must rise up and take massive action to overcome the mistakes I’ve been making that have been keeping me down. I have no one to blame but myself, maybe i attracted negativity for some time, but those days are over. I’ve dug myself a deep hole in debt over the past few years and I’ve been doing the best i can to get out, but seem to be only spinning my wheels. I know the first rule of getting out of a hole is to stop digging. I’ve done that, now i need to move forward. I’ve never been one to follow all the rules. My father died when i was a kid, from cancer, and not having my role model around caused me to do things my own way, for better or worse. I learned a lot of lessons the hard way and always tried accomplishing things on my own without the help of anyone else. Some things i achieved and am very proud of, like being an All-American running back in college, But i could have used more guidance in some other endeavors. I am not afraid to ask for help anymore given my current situation. I know certain guidelines promise success, but sometimes you gotta know when to deviate from the popular path, and I know you’re a trailblazer as well. I respect you for that. Now i see potential for a great turning point in my life from the opportunity presented here and i want this for me and my family, my community and the kids i see playing around me in the parks and recreation centers in my area. There is potential for growth, i just need to grab it with a plan.
My girl just recently got pregnant and i am in no shape to keep struggling along like I’ve been doing. I need things to change for the better, i know this is my shot. I agree that people take free shit for granted, and am happy to pay the 500 bucks and drive to Durty Jersey from Va Beach for a weekend knowing this could be a potential life changer for me. I feel i have a ton to offer my community in training, relationships, networking and performance enhancement for all these young gladiators who need to be unleashed onto the fields, courts and mats of my area. I can build em, i just need help attracting more of them. The iron is what i know, and it is what i love. I can’t see myself making a living any other way, it is me. I am constantly helping people around me achieve great things in the gym, which in turn creates a better situation for many of them outside the gym, whether it be sports or a more fulfilling home life. Now i just need help turning my passion into profits. Here’s a taste of me…

  4. Zach! I saw you at the Ryan Lee Bootcamp this year, you killed it! I also met Matt Holmes there who after taking your cert is also killing it. I’ve been wanting to send you a message telling you how stoked I am on the site and how I want to take the cert, but I figured your response would be “awesome get out here in Feb and kill it!” and then I’d have to respond with – next month bro I’m broke. I didn’t want to do that though. I didn’t want to appear like someone who wasn’t willing to take action. But, I’m in a hole…as you said “negative nothing”. The girlfriend just bought me dinner and that’s not all she’s been paying for lately. I also just moved in with her to try and save some cash – very stressful. The Ryan Lee Bootcamp still isn’t paid off yet, but I’ll find some money for this, and I’m in Manhattan so I’ll get out to Jerz this weekend if chosen. I really liked your energy at the bootcamp I was never really sure if you were that crazy in real life or not, so it was cool to see that your energy is genuine. I’d love to have the opportunity to come out there and feed off of your energy, learn a ton of stuff, and kill it. The main reason I would love to be chosen is I think this course will expedite my own dream of opening my own underground style gym. I would move back to my home town and start a facility. No more 5am training sessions, shitty music, sally attitudes, complaints of making too much noise – this actually happens at my gym, etc. But what I will have is a sick underground environment, motivated people, good music, more opportunities to work with kids, the ability to over see a weight loss program for my mother, make my father strong again, give back to the community by sponsoring/training the fire and police depts, and of course make as much noise as I wan. Zach if I get this opportunity I will KILL IT!!!

  5. Zach,
I’m definitely interested in coming to your training at the $249 x2 rate. I live down in VA so I can drive up for the event (saving air fare). And I’m sure I can find some hotel with rates below $85 a night (or share) within a reasonable drive of your training site. The timing could not be better for me. I just got off the phone with a Chinese martial arts gym about renting space for them to get my new gym off the ground. We are working a revenue sharing arrangement so that I can spend more money on marketing and know that I will have lots of hours at the gym available to work with my clients. And the relationship should be beneficial for them as well – they tell me that they aren’t very profitable right now and getting revenue from their second workout space would be very beneficial to them.

I’ve already implemented many of the things you and your protege Arnel teach through your videos. I’ve pretty much stopped working out in the traditional body builder methodologies. Now I workout with kettlebells, the sled, hanging ropes, sand bags, sledge/ old tire and lots of body weight and plyo exercises.

When you decide to allow me the honor of training with you this weekend, you do so knowing full well that I will implement what you teach me with my future clients and my business. I look forward to learning all that you have to teach. Please let me know today so I can book my room (and I’m definitely willing to share!).

Quick update: I nailed the rental negotiation. I will have over 700 sq.ft. of workout space for $500 a month. Hopefully this gym will just be the first of several. Your methodologies will be crucial to my success.

    Thanks,
    Charles Bram

Man, just caught the video and i’m very psyched for this opportunity to come up to NJ from West Texas! I’ve been in the supplement industry for years but I’m ready to start making my living with passion and not a paycheck. I just set up a deal with a local facility to train my athletes out of. My main target group is going to be junior high and high school athletes. I would love nothing more than to bust these kids butts every week and all summer long and then go out and watch them kick everybody else’s butt on Friday nights. it’s about doing what you love and bringing out the best in others. I am also looking to use another “hardcore” facility to start an Underground Strength” club where I will train adults that want to get crazy strong and pack on size with new and intense training methods. I am looking to train clients in groups of 5 or more to really bring out the intensity within each individual. i am a CSCS certified strength coach and a big advocate of the West Side methods and Strong man training. I feel like i have a good base on all these training styles but i am looking for Zach to take me to the next level on the business side of things. i have the passion, drive, and I am well respected in my city of Lubbock. I just need the start up tools and knowledge to allow me to do what I do best! I am currently a natural pro bodybuilder and compete once a year; but I don’t train like a bodybuilder and in fact don’t care much for most of them. I train like an athlete and that’s why i want to work with athletes. I am a big advocate of maxing you body to the limit without the use of drugs. I try and set an example in this way and know that with my new business I can reach a lot of people. This thing is last minute I know, but I’m ready to jump on a plane to Baltimore and make the drive to make this happen. A little help wouldn’t hurt though! Thank you for the opportunity and I look forward to “KILLIN IT” Northeast style!

    Zach,
This is the down and dirty version of my current situation. I am a union concrete laborer by trade who has been laid off for the past 3 months. I have four beautiful kids and a wife that I would do anything for. My choice was either to feel sorry for myself or to change the situation. To keep our family a float my wife has been working two jobs and I have started a gym out of my garage. My passion has always been for iron. Last year we were able to scrape enough money together to send me to the RKC and with this initial training/knowledge I was able to open my garage gym two months ago which, I call IRON. In two short months my gym has gone from myself and one thirty five pound kettlbell to 5 paying customers and a rack of kettlebells. I am confident that my possibilities could be endless with my determination, a ton of training, and the chance to learn your underground coaching methods. My vision board in my garage reads “I Want To Do Something That Matters.” With this opportunity I can make a difference in peoples lives and at the same time support my family. Check out my website at http://www.ironkettlebelltraining.com (my wife and I created this in a week for $6.99.)
Thanks for your consideration and I look forward to training with you this weekend!

What a great idea! It’s great to see people giving back and trying to help out when ever possible!

  9. Zach and Prograde(yes this is my second post),
Today I invited one of my clients to work out with me and my friends “on the house”. I thought this was a great idea, as he’s only 22yrs old and can’t afford to train more than 1-2x wk and he wants to get jacked. He doesn’t have any friends who are in to the gym scene, so I thought I’d take it one step further to help a client who always brings 100 percent and bring him in for a session with the guys. I knew if he came in and lifted with me and my buddies his lifts would go up even more…and they did, he did more push-ups and pull-ups then ever and even jumped are highest plyo box. I was psyched! I left work for lunch pumped up after a great workout. When I returned I was called into my boss’s office, and criticized for making a “bad business decision”. He told me that he didn’t like the idea of me working out with gym members, that it was going to devalue personal training, send the wrong message, and that my client would probably stop training with me. WTF!?!?!? I don’t see eye to eye with these folks I need to start my own underground where I can get down and dirty with the clientele if I want! Zach and Prograde let’s do this!
