When my Encyclopedia of Underground Strength was released Elliott Hulse interviewed me and we rocked the house, digging deep into training for physical strength and life strength, business and mindset and overall, success.
I recorded this bad boy and have it on you tube, soon I'll get this on iTunes and Stitcher.
Give this a listen, sit down, take it all in.
The feedback to The STRONG Life podcast has been people are listening while driving in their car or out talking a walk and getting away from the "noise".

Good word brotha! Started my day with this after some study time this a.m. Funny, one of my training partners called in the middle of the show. Me- yo!, him- let’s pump some iron. Stoked to hit it today. First session post crash so still gotta feel it out. Either way gonna get some work done.
Jared, you had an ANgel watching over you, my man.
You’re a BOSS!
No dice. Still a little beat up. Got in some stretching and a walk.
That is amazing. I’m actually printing some photos to make an inspirational & motivational wall and you both are on it for sure! Two hard working guys with passion, discipline, willpower, consistency, not waiting for the “perfect” moment. Fires me up! Thanks Zach! Thanks Elliot!
Thomas, BIG thanks brother! I appreciate it and LOVE to inspire you, I hope to meet you one day at The Underground Strength Coach cert!
Zach and Elliott, you guys don’t just think outside the box; you destroy the box!
You both have helped give the fitness world a “gut check”.
Keep up the good work!
Zach, Awesome stuff!
I know you are crushing the motivation stuff and some need that. But what about those of us who seem to “push” it all the time? Can you do an article or send us the right way with your years of expertise on optimal rest and when knowing how to structure and deal with rest to make progress? Thanks brother, looking forward to rejoining underground soon, have to wait until remote rescue season done so I have regular access to web 🙂
That’s awesome as usual Zach. I’ve got to be honest. You’ve been a similar inspiration to me much in the way Elliot described here in his video.
It doesn’t always take fancy equipment to acquire strength it just takes a desire, a commitment, and creativity. Resistance is resistance and our bodies don’t know the difference.
Your creativity is in the whole “Underground Strength” fashion has no doubt sparked a different and unique “way” of training that many coaches and trainers are excited about being exposed to. Great post Zach. Thanks again for sharing.
