In life and everything else, if you're not stronger today than you were yesterday, you've got a MAJOR issue. You need to grow mentally and physically, daily. Strength in mind and body comes from regular practice, consistency and refusing to back down when things aren't lookin' so pretty. Below, is the end of my power-bodybuilding workout. Gotta finish strong(er) than yesterday. On with the show! I'm chasing strength and muscle just as I did when I was 13 & 1/2 years old.... except that … [Read more...]
Power-Bodybuilding Workouts
Above, Roger Estep - 1 of the Pioneers of The Power - Bodybuilding Method ___________________ After laying low on training the past month, going minimalist style with low volume & frequency plus chowing down on lots of food lately, I'm gonna put good use to these calories. I felt my body was needing a break coupled with a super hectic work schedule, listening to my body is crucial to staying healthy. My appetite is finally back and my motivation is that of a run away freight train. I … [Read more...]
Monday Motivation: Tribute to The Underground
Here's an e mail / video I received a few days ago. Check out this kid's story and his video, it blows me away! Hey Zach, My name is Vince and I have been following the Underground Training Methods for about a year now and am extremely happy with my results. I just wanted to make this video as a thank-you for all of the information that you put out for all of us undergrounders as well as inspiring me to change the way I train and build my own underground gym in my home! Hopefully it … [Read more...]
Return of The Golden Era Bodybuilding Workout
Golden Era bodybuilding is a far cry from many of the bodybuilding methods of today. Today we see circus tricks and pump up weights. The lack of strength focused work is why the bodybuilders of The Golden Era had that thick, dense, rugged physique. The bodybuilders of today rely on chemical warfare rather than building a physique that stays with you for a lifetime. The Golden & Silver Era bodybuilders focused on free weights, heavy lifting, hard work on the basics and no fads or … [Read more...]

One BadAss Book: ‘The 4 Hour Body’ Book Review
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIVmsIJyj3A The trailer pumped me up BIG time. I won't lie. I wanted to Deadlift HEAVY and run FAST as soon as I saw this Video. Sometimes, the trailer is better than the movie, or in this case, the book. https://youtu.be/gm68avm3UVA But, NOT this time. This time, Tim Ferriss kicked some major ass in his latest book, 'The 4 Hour Body'. It was a Friday night in NYC. I was meeting up with my homeboy, BMack, the Mastermind behind CrossFit … [Read more...]
Mobility, Prehab and Rehab – Exposing Your Weakness
Last weekend I had an AMAZING time chillin' AND learning from my homeboy, K Star. I attended his Mobility Cert and it was THE MOST practical seminar I have ever been to. The amount of understanding and conceptual knowledge you gain from this cert is downright crazy. By the way, K Star has got perhaps one of the most BadAss Gyms known to human kind, there are NO walls, no showers and no pretty bathrooms... instead, you'll find the fresh air, TONS of weights from free weights to odd objects to … [Read more...]
