When schools or individuals are worried about turf instead of their grass field, a beautiful weight room instead of the old dungeon weight room and sophisticated X, Y, Z ........ They are worried about the WRONG things. The TRUTH is that fancy and pretty equipment don't mean a thing unless the training and technique is dialed in. GREAT Coaches & a GREAT Environment Builds GREAT athletes, it's NOT the equipment. This journey began for me in my early teenage years. I quickly learned … [Read more...]
AWESOME Podcasts I’ve Recently Crushed!
I've been on a minimalist kick and have been saying NO to a lot more than I say Yes. NO to podcasts, interviews, opportunities, seminars...... There is power in focus, and, I don't see many people dialed in and focused nowadays. That's a problem when you're trying to be your best. That brings me to this point: I've done a LOT of great podcasts through the years and if you are a go getter, then Google them and dig in. I've seen many of these podcasts get unshared by the podcast … [Read more...]

STRONG Life Ep 70: Football Strength & Conditioning w/ Jim Kiritsy
Strength & Conditioning, Physical Preparation, whatever term you want to use, go ahead. The REAL key is Results. Results tell the TRUTH and I see / hear lots of fancy talk out there with NO results. I've got Football players showing up at The Underground Strength Gym after 6 months at a performance or speed school and this Football player can't do a pull up and lacks mental toughness. Football is a sport of Gladiators. Football Players must be agile, mobile and hostile. Strong, … [Read more...]
