A few of the high school bruddahs needed a lil' extra motivation so i decided to crank an unannounced pull up contest to win our latest Underground T Shirts. You'll see they ALL hit double digits. What's more important is that not long ago, some of these kids were only performing 3 pull ups with less than stellar technique. One of these athletes was not able to perform ONE pull up! Remember Kids: Eat Your Pull Ups for Breakfast! Check the vid and drop a comment, show some luv! I do pull … [Read more...]
Jersey Shore Strength Adventures
Last week I took a journey 45 minutes south to the beautiful Jersey shore. My buddy Mike Stehle runs a kick ass training center HERE. Episode # 101: This is what motivates me
Athletes come to The Underground Strength Gym, more often than not, weaker than a 98 lb weakling, no joke. My motivation is to get them strong as hell, and while doing so, I need to walk the talk and remain stronger. You never know what must be done to represent. On New Years, 1 of my athletes hit a 115 lb pull up weighing 240 lbs, I hit a 106 lb pull up weighing 220. One of the young guns, a high school sophomore is addicted to The Underground - he wants to train all the time and always … [Read more...]
