Watch this Video….and then read on my bruddahs….

Well, what can I say.

I’m STILL buzzin from what happened yesterday at The Underground Strength Gym in Edison, NJ.

Yesterday, The Blair Academy Wrestling Team took the 1 hr drive south, and arrived at The Underground Strength Gym at 3:22 PM.

Next week, the other half of The Blair Wrecking Crew will make the trek.

3 Cars rolled up.

Gladiators…ALL of them. Every single last 1 of them, straight up Gladiators.

gladiators

We shook hands as they entered, a few used the rest room, the others started pummeling and moving their bodies around, prepping to go to War.

The music was pumpin….

Eminem

Metallica

Old School Van Halen (David Lee Roth!!)

Every single one of them had the eye of the tiger.

blair wrestlersHave you ever been in a room where EVERYONE had the eye of the tiger?

I’ve seen rooms with a lot of motivated kids, but NEVER ALL OF THEM.

The workout itself was an all out battle….war….they fought for every inch of iron they pushed and pulled yesterday.

Every inch of movement they pushed their body through….pulling, pushing, sprinting…..

YouTube Preview Image

We had these Gladiators Ripping sandbags off the ground, onto their shoulders, over their heads….

These 12 Gladiators went through a hellish workout….together….

They never backed down….NEVER!

Not one of them showed signs of pain in the face, because if they did, they KNEW that it was a sign of weakness.

Some of these Gladiators were only 14 or 15 years young. But damn were they f**ing tough!

Physical toughness MUST be preceded by mental toughness. You MUST train your mind to endure pain beyond YOUR norms.

Coach Buxton has trained them, not just physically, but mentally.

The training they experience together has made them tougher individually AND as a team.

They have fought for ALL their inches, together.

On the mat AND off the mat you are supposed to fight for every inch….if you don’t fight for every inch, you miss out on opportunity.

Opportunity does NOT come to those who wait.

You make your own opportunities. PERIOD!

Some of you may or may not know, but I went through a lot of hell in my life…emotionally and physically.

I fought through depression in my teens and ever since the age of 13 I pushed myself through hellish workouts.

Not until the age of 18 did I finally escape the chains of my depression.

Still, I had MORE battles to fight through….hard fought battles….inch by inch.

The battles and pain eventually led me to the surgery table, and on that very day, before going under the blade, I vowed to do my absolute best to stop other combat athletes from the world around, to NOT experience all the physical and emotional pain I experienced. MY MISSION then & there was brought to light.

Today, my mission is Underground Strength Nation – I LOVE seeing the transformation people go through mentally AND physically through old school training and physical culture type workouts. It is a life changer.

I’ve received countless e mails on this, and many touch me deeply and bring tears to my eyes…. I’ve even had e mails and voice mails to my gym on how Underground Strength has saved them from suicide because they now had their OWN MISSION.

This mission led me to the intense studies of training combat athletes. It has led me to intensity in ALL I do, very much like Ultimate Warrior says, “Intensity for Life!”

YouTube Preview Image

Unfortunately, for me, I had to lose….I had to lose A LOT.

I’m not talking the loss of things like money, cars, clothes.

I’m talking about losing years of my life…

During my depression, it was like a dead man walking.

I wasn’t LIVING.

So you see bruddahs, this is why much of my videos, training and everything you see me doing here on the Blog is SOOOOO MUCH MORE than just fitness, lifting, working out, pushing iron…..

It’s about LIVING…and living life to the fullest!

My goal is NOT to just help you become a Bad Mother F**er physically, but also mentally….and, to be able to live your life by your own rules, and to achieve the success you have ALWAYS wanted.

No more dreaming of this or that, it’s ALL about living your dreams.

My Underground Strength Cert – NOT about training methods alone and that’s all…

Training methods alone will not create an AWESOME business…..

Instead, it’s about the mind power secrets I use, the motivation behind my hustle and how you can use it to your advantage, it’s about going for your dreams and NEVER giving up or backing down when you go for your dreams.

I’m willing to fight for every inch to achieve my dreams.

My mind has never been more powerful, as I have learned to cultivate my mind power and turn my mind into a deadly weapon, allowing me to WIN at EVERYTHING I do.

I’ll be revealing these methods soon :)

Maybe you know all there is to know about life, going through hell, fighting for every inch and the harnessing the power of the mind.

I don’t know everything…I have much to learn!

But, this is exactly why I succeed, because I constantly seek out anything and everything I can to educate me AND fire me up.

Some people are too lazy…..

Too lazy to fight for every inch….

Too lazy to educate themselves….

Too lazy to seek new information to fire them up…..

I am NOT too lazy….

I understand that every piece of knowledge I acquire, it is like gaining another inch….

Because…..those inches that I gain…and you gain, are exactly what allows you to WIN in life.

The Gladiators of Blair Academy understand all about inches.

I understand the inches game.

Do you understand and, are you WILLING to fight for those inches?

Drop a comment and let me know.

Peace.

Below is 11 minutes inside my mindset, how I began living the life of my dreams and how I fought through hellish times to come out on top.

Oh yea, I also tell you how to pick up hot chicks :)

It’s ALL part of becoming “Unbeatable….. Watch Below….

I have been inspired by many and taught by many…

That is something that will NEVER end because I am a student of life, but especially lately, I have been digging into the books intensely, and The Unbeatable Man is a book you should have in your hands.

In fact, it has been said that simply seeing the cover of a book with a powerful title is enough to transform you.

So along with The Unbeatable Man I also have ‘Think & Grow Rich’ and ‘Go BIG or Go Home’ amongst several others.

Just as you need to surround yourself with the right people, you must also surround yourself with the right books!

Become Unbeatable and get your hands on this inspiring book HERE.

Peace!

Wanna be an Unbeatable Man…or Woman?

You MUST have the Eye of The Tiger.

In your mind, “Impossible is Nothing”

In the last video and Blog Post, I spoke about mind set and winning at everything you do.

I spoke about becoming Unbeatable.

Check out these 2 Videos and Read On….

I have noticed many people have much to say yet do NOT follow their words.

Action, every day, day in and day out must be aggressively taken.

Combine your aggressive action with an “impossible, unbeatbale” mindset and you will WIN.

You see Blair Wrestlers tearing it up above at my Underground Strength Gym. This was their first time at my gym and they attacked, attacked and attacked some more!

You gotta walk the talk baby!

Peace!

I’ve got 3 exercises for you below, on video, that if you attack them on a regular basis, you will FORCE your upper body to pack on muscle like never before.

I’m pushing these 3 movements HARD lately, and because I am, they are upping my deadlift, my bench press, military press and of course, adding muscle…..

Check the video….

You’re gonna need TWO things if you wanna push through barriers of strength and building muscle.

One: You need an Unbeatable Mind Set. You simply can’t push the envelope f your training without having the right mindset.

Take a look at the intensity of the Blair Wrestling Team as they train and tear it up with furious intensity and the eye of the tiger…..unlike anything I have ever seen!

Two: To bring up lagging muscle groups, you gotta specialize. Attack your weak areas and let them know you are the MAIN Boss in charge! Attack, attack, attack!

Time for me to hit the gym.

And, by the way, I’ve been eating push ups, pull ups and dips for breakfast. Feelin’ like a Bad Ass.

Peace!

Yo Dudes…..

I’ve said it enough times around here that hopefully you get my point.

Lifting is not just about getting stronger, bigger, faster and ripped…..

Remember, I’m a Soul Lifter, so I train the way I feel and I’m always aimed at feelin’ good.

Life is supposed to be FUN.

So check out how I get a lil’ crazy before the crew from Blair Wrestling Team stopped by the Underground Strength Gym with my homeboy Pauly Reddick.

Pauly Reddick was highly impressive with his air guitar as his hands went crazy.

Notice my style, slappin’ da bass mon!!!!

This weekend is gonna be a CRAZY FUN weekend for me and the bruddahs rolling up to The Underground Strength Gym in good ol’ Edison, NJ.

I’m holding a full weekend Underground Mentorship – Certification, the next one coming up is around the corner, November 14th and will be a 1 Day Mentorship – Certification.

Get In on The FUN Here!

One Dude just signed up yesterday from Texas! Less than 48 hrs to go and he went for it!

I LOVE seeing that!

The people who take action with SPEED and decisiveness will WIN and be way ahead of those who wait for their so called “better timing”.

There is no perfect time or better time except for NOW.

Months from now you’ll either be a few months older OR you’ll be smarter and cranking away on your new fitness business or new Underground workout.

For me, Life has never been more FUN since building my own business.

I have more time to train, more flexibility in my day, more time with my family and friends and the freedom to what I want, when I want.

Deep down I always wanted to do something which allowed me to make a difference, and most jobs hold you back and have waaaaay too much yellow tape, too many rules and God for bid you have FUN!!

Do it your way, train hard, live hard and have FUN!

Peace!

arnold education of a bodybuilderMany, Many, MANY years ago, as a young teen, reading Arnold’s book, ‘Education of a Bodybuilder’ I remember Arnold speaking about being Fearless.

I would keep taking the book out from the school library, renewing it every 2 weeks so noone else could read about Arnie and learn his secrets. Just me, it was all mine!

I remember laughing to myself as my name was the only name to fill up both front and back of all the sign out cards for this awesome book.

Arnold was Fearless to go heavier and move HUGE & Massive poundages that others feared.

Arnold would perform calf raises with over 1,000 lbs, loading the calf machine to maximum arnold calf raisecapacity plus having his training partner stand on the machine!

Arnold went the extra mile and did NOT fear the heavy load sitting on his back because he was sooo freaking hungry to make his calves grow because he wanted to win so badly!

Arnold also understood that this going the extra mile, or sometimes only the extra few inches is what created the greatness that so many others feared doing.

Are you going the extra mile?

What about the extra inch?

On Sunday my athletes were invited to come in for a free workout with the Coaches going through the certification / mentorship. It was a 10 AM workout.

2 kids who said they would show, did not. That is missing out on inches and miles.

That is FEAR of waking up and doing something when perhaps your mind and body are not wanting it. Sometimes, ya just gotta say ‘F**k it!”, right?

Arnold was Fearless to travel to America to compete against the best bodybuilders in the world when he did not speak English.

Fearless to tell people of his lofty goals of becoming the best built man in the world, moving to America and becoming a Hollywood star known around the world.

Everyone else around Arnold focused on how crazy he was, and how he should not have such “dreams”.

His passioned toppled and trampled over all obstacles and road blocks.

Arnold’s most powerful weapon: His Mind.

Your most powerful weapon? Your Mind.

Only if you so choose.

Most people remain scared their entire life and fear the risk of doing what Arnold did; Achieving Greatness.

Greatness to you may not mean becoming a Hollywood action hero and Mr. Olympia.

It might mean benching 315 lbs, quitting your lame 9-5 suit & tie job and not waking up to an alarm clock.

YOU decide what Greatness means and only you can define it.

But, just like Arnie did, you gotta have that “F**K It!” attitude and go for it.

You gotta believe that you too, are Numero Uno!

arnold numero uno

Above, Arnold believed he was Numero Uno, even when he wasn’t smokin’ The Ganja Mon!

It’s OK to be scared, the trick is, not allowing your fear to control you!

Want to know more ways to achieve greatness and become fearless?

Listen to this Audio Interrogation that I did with Matt Furey, author of The Unbeatbale Man.

** Feel Free to download the Kick Ass, Guaranteed to “Pump You Up” audio with Matt Furey and I to your I Pod as well! **

Click HERE for the Greatness & Fearless Audio Interrogation with myself and Matt Furey…

Or….Click Play Below while you listen….

This was obviously just the scratching of the surface.

But, I definitely want to hear your thoughts on how you overcome fear and what you do to achieve greatness in your life.

What does greatness mean to you?

I am psyched to see what you write in the comments section!

Peace!

PS: If greatness and becoming fearless means opening your own fitness business, then you owe it to yourself to meet me HERE!

PPS: If you need to give your mind the right food to become fearless then you must read The Unbeatable Man HERE.

Meet Ricky Bruch.

A man driven to WIN.

A man who did not lay down for others.

They told him “NO”.

They said he was too old.

He decided differently.

He blazed his own path, and as you can see below, he was not the type of man you would want to run into in a dark alley.

Denied the right to compete in the Olympic Games he trained like a mad man and sought revenge by entering smaller competitions and beating records in the process.

Yes, it looks like Ricky took advantage of some illegal substances, and that, I am against.

But, I learn from his actions still, the main action being his commitment to achieving a goal and refusing to accept defeat on other people’s terms.

So I leave you with some words and some training footage.

Remember, when others tell you “NO”, “It’s impossible”, “Don’t be crazy”, “Be realistic” – this is your time to push onward and upward.

Greatness comes to those who dare something worthy, Normal doesn’t cut it around “here.”

Meet Ricky Bruch….

What did you think of Ricky’s attitude towards training and winning?

Looks like he was in a VERY Underground type gym.

Looking forward to your comments and thoughts on defying the odds and winning.

Peace!

larry scott bicepWOW!

Lots of emotion heated up from yesterday’s video with Ricky Bruch.

But, even though some disagreed with what may have been Ricky Burch’s past (who can say for fact what he did or did not do and deep down who gives a shit), let’s look at what we can learn from his videos.

That’s how I like to view things: How can I LEARN from X, Y, Z, rather than finding the negative.

There is enough negativity on the internet, I ask you to please not bring it here.

This light of trying to learn and find the positive rather than the negative has been a LARGE factor in my success, which is largely in part due to my mind set.

Check this next video out, a favorite lift of mine is hit HARD in this video with Ricky Bruch:

That movement? we can call it the power curl.

It’s a hybrid hang clean and cheat curl, and it places your wrists in a more comfortable position than a typical olympic style hang clean.

Is one better than the other, it all depends on your goals.

If you’re an O lifter, than obviously the olympic style clean is best.

I have cranked these power curls sometimes FIRST in a workout, hitting 205 on a straight bar and curl bar.

I was FIRST exposed to these while training with a super heavyweight bodybuilder at my old stomping grounds, Diamond Gym.

The guy who cranked these would hit several sets of 6 – 10 reps during a workout with 275 lbs! The guy was a PURE beast and strong as hell, he LOVED to train heavy and would routinely do 4 – 5 EASY sets of deep squats for 10 reps with 495 lbs, NO joke.

The power curl will pack muscle on your back, shoulders, traps, biceps and forearms.

I suggest you give it a go, with a straight bar, thick bar or an ez curl bar.

The Power Curl will NOT be performed with 95 lbs.

I don’t suggest cranking these until you can perform them properly with at least 135 lbs.

Let me hear your thoughts on other unorthodox lifts and this last video of Ricky.

I do like the low budget gym he is training in, it’s amazing the type of results one can get from inside these “hole in the wall” warehouse gyms.

Peace!
