by Zach Even - Esh Leave a Comment

STRONG Life Episode 115, QnA from Instagram. This episode unfolds in a unique manner as each and every question keeps bringing me back to WHY we must stand our ground for Excellence. None of this "good enough" BS and figuring out how to make things easier for everyone. I am at a point where I am not going to refuse for wanting excellence. How To Improve The Current State Of Youth Sports / Youth Strength & Conditioning

by Zach Even - Esh 8 Comments

More and more I begin to question if we can make a change to our youth sports programs and most of all, our youth Physical Education programs. My own answer to this dilemma? YES, change CAN be made. When parents have to pay for a service you quickly lose 85+ percent of kids you can potentially impact. This … [Read more...]

Blending Calisthenics with Strongman, Powerlifting & Olympic Weightlifting

by Zach Even - Esh 11 Comments

My buddy and I used to hunt the area for the best playgrounds. We looked for parallel bars and pull up bars specifically. These were gems. Some schools removed their entire playground if one child fell and got injured. So this was not as easy to find as it sounds. The back of my truck usually had a sandbag, a few Kettlebells and maybe a sled or prowler. Those training sessions were powerful and effective. They were TOUGH. Now, being in my 40s, I find that more calisthenics and … [Read more...]
